| Quote: Bulliac "Nero hasn't been the player he was last year and Worrincy has been very disappointing but I think Reardon should be cut a bit of slack. He had a very bad injury last season and it will take a bit of time to fully recover. I noticed he has started staying out on his wing in defence even when the attack was over the far side. We've defended well (allowing for occasional lapses) in the last few games so this seems to be working. The fact that our defensive system seems to be working well is also one reason for not making too many changes in the backs imo.'"
I suppose that is a positive, but i'd just like to see a bit more attacking threat on that side. The pace of Halley or Crookes could do that.

remember reardon tracking back to stop donald in pre-season game? bit unfair to say he lacks pace. I'd like to try nero on bench as 2nd row/ with a combination of halley/reardon on wing and reardon/crookes in depending on who is available . Dont think a massive change is needed and the less disruption to the team the better. make one small change each week and see how it works rather than make wholesale changes each week.

| The problem with the Rhinos is they can play s##t and still hand out tonkings because of their strike capabilities. Going to be tough, both teams will raise it and will be an exciting encounter
Looking forward to it

| With the pitch at Shedingley being as sandy as it is, I reckon it would be quite funny if the Bulls fans made an effort to attend the game in theme costume.
Perhaps a theme based on the seaside? We could attend in bermuda shorts, take a few beach balls, a bucket and spade to build sandcastles, you get the idea!

With the biting wind outside at the moment, it'd be a different kind of balls we'd need to be worrying about...

| Looking at the teams around us, and the next few fixtures, this is a game I think will be vital to how the season goes on.
If we win it should put us into 7th (presuming Hull KR lose to Hull FC, not granted though, especially after tonight). Then with the next 2 fixtures we could overtake Wakefield. This would put us in the top 6. If we could maintain a win ratio of just above 50% we could stay in the top 6 all season.
I'm being optimistic, but what the hell! I think we'll make the play-offs this year, and if we can get a few more results the top 6 is well within our reach.
When we hit form we need a big win somewhere along the way though. Catalans is our next best chance, but it's not easy going over there. A positive PD would please me, but we need a big win. Quins was a good chance, but they were fairly good on the night.
I hope the players will be up for the challenge and get stuck into the Whinos. It's definitely winnable and would set us up nicely over the easter period.
COME ON YOU BULLS!!

| This match is set up perfectly..............for Leeds to give us an absolute hammering.
This isn't a match we should expect to take anything from really, away to the current SL champions. So I'm expecting us to lose, anything else will be a pleasant surprise.

Leeds performance against Wigan will give them a confidence boost and they may have a couple more players back , would have fancied you 2-3 weeks ago , but not now , think it will be close though

| Leeds on their own turf against us, for me, means that you can't read too much in their last couple of games.
This IS going to be a hard one, one which I think we can one, but one which should not be assumed so.
Has the bog of a pitch at Sheddingly gotten any better over the last couple of week? I don't know where/how they have picked up all their "9 first team player" injuries . . . . could it be anything to do with the quagmire? Anyone know?

It's all FA's fault, he asked me to hex someone at the start of the season. The same one I put on Deacs 10 years ago. It's all downhill for the lad I'm afraid.

| When the season started, just a few short weeks ago, not many would have dared even think about a win at Headingley. I'd love it, but personally don't see away wins at the champions, or such as Saints, as required this season, when we have no designs on finishing in the top two and so can afford to be realistic.
Now is also not the time to be finding your best form, the business end of the season is when you need to do that, however sweet a win away at Leeds may be at any point in the calendar.
What has changed, though, in those few short weeks is that most people now understand we [icould[/i win away at the champions, and many are even tipping us to do so, whereas when the season started not many gave us a price.
