If we got both, then we WOULD have a cracking pack, and also Worrincy.
But we won't so such a conversation is pointless.
For the record, I have been beating the drum for LMS for ages now and would love to see him at the Bulls. As for Moi Moi? Never seen what the fuss is about TBH. He really aint anything too special IMO. In fact, I reckon that it is only cos he has a catchy name that he gets noticed more.

| Why do people rate LMS so much? I've never really seen anything that suggests he's going to be anything more than "decent".

Worlds number one props do not get embarrassingly smashed up by 18 year old kids as Mr Moi Moi famously once did.
However, I will be sure to contact Mr Civoniceva before I comment on him any further.

I saw him score a good try this year where he ran through about 4 defenders to score under the posts. Howver like you I think there's been a bit of hype around him because he's come through the system down there.
I'm sure Quins would want to hang onto him as he's their poster boy.

so you judge players on on one tackle rather than a seasons work ?

I seem to remember plenty of Bradford fans getting somewhat over-excited about the hit at the time. Apparently (to some) it announced his presence at the highest level.
Is this also a case of judging players by one tackle?

| Moi Moi did some wonderful stuff in the NRL Grand Final, including one monster of a try when Parramatta really, really needed it but then he didn't seem to be able to carry it on, in a kinda Feka stylee.
It's been impossible to really judge NRL players for yourself since the Setanta coverage stopped but I suppose Moi Moi would best be down as a seriously good impact player off the bench. Not sure it's top of our list, but I wouldn't complain.
Plus he's easily as fat as Solomona.

Moi Moi is twice the player LMS is at this moment in time. And Moi Moi has probably just had his best season in the NRL and it is nothing to do with him having a 'catchy name'.
However I would welcome LMS to the Bulls, nowhere near Burgess quality but a player with potential to be one of the better Props in SL.

That seems to fit with FA's comparison to Solomona

Moi Moi normally does two stints of 20 mins in either half but came on for a third stint in the last ten mins of the grand final and got them back in it with the try FA mentions above. He's nowhere near as fat as Feka and has pace which gives him an added advantage. He actually gets cleaned out quite regularly - see the NRL semis and GF, but nearly always get ups and gets on with it at speed. What a lot of people including ME forget about Sam's hit on Moi Moi, is that NZ scored on that same set. The fact he can take a beating is not proof he's useless as a prop.

IIRC there were two hits on him. the first one did not result in a NZ try.

I agree i dont think he is any better than Kopczak, its just that hes come thorugh the Quins system and can do a job in Super League makes everyone think he is class, if he was from any other club there wouldnt be as much hype.
