Yep, I've just spoken to someone at the club about this, and we as a fans group could sponsor one of the younger lads in the squad for somewhere between £400 - £500 plus VAT, they also thought this would be an excellent idea. I guess we'd just need someone to organise it and then have a bun fight over which player we'd like to try and sponsor. Previously sponsored players get their sponsorship offered to the previous sponsor first in case they want to continue their arrangement, so not everyone would be available. Any volunteers? Wigan Bull??

I'd be up for that. It would be like owning part of a racehorse only without the winnings and/or enjoyment.

How about getting a head count on here of interested parties, then making an official enquiry with the club?

First thing is to set up a sub-committee or working group. FA needs to draw up some terms of reference.
