When I put the telly about 5 minutes before KO they were showing an interview with him. He spoke far more eloquently than I expected.

Does the ball actually have to touch the ground though? I have a vague recollection that if your own arm or hand is under the ball it still counts?

Must admit, I have a vague recollection of the same thing. But not sure where I've got it from.

To be honest, I don't recollect seeing the BOD on the board for ages - I know the advantage to the attack policy still applies, but have they decided not to put it up on the screen any more?'"
I did wonder this myself. Sorry about my almost blunt reply incidentally. I was on my phone trying to make a point and the signal was about to go!
I am not sure whether or not they still use BOD as a reason for awarding a try anymore. Perhaps this is only used,
a: When a Leeds player grounds the ball from about 12 inches in the air, or,
b: It is against us.
Perhaps an RL expert can confirm this for us?
Or if there are no experts available perhaps FA could?

| ^ looked clean mate, he didn't point his elbow, it was tucked in, and extended his arm to push Kearney rather than strike him

While that certainly dsn't support my hunch it does seem to indicate you could score a try with your belly without having to touch it with an arm. Almost like a makeshift Big Daddy splash, if you will.

Glad you mentioned it. I thought that. Thanks for the validation.

| Lauitiiti should be going to Red Hall over the attack to the head on Luke Gale when he was defenceless on the ground near the end of the game. Was mentioned on sky. Dirty coward.

| I saw that - regardless of the size difference, I was soo wanting Gale to punch him from the ground. Cowardly play like that irritates me.
In hindsight, I'm glad he didn't retaliate, can do without Gale missing games due to injury/suspension
