Letting Burgess go without securing some real top quality replacements is madness. He's the biggest name we have, the player with most potential and on song he's got more quality than anyone else in the squad.
He's also the one player in recent years our much vaunted academy has produced that's gone on to the highest level. Letting him go without bringing in some quality replacements would send the wrong message totally.

Hope so. 2011 will be good. We'll be temporarily playing at Yeadon Airport, but our new young guns will be starting to take the league by storm.

It's worse we just let him go for nothing whereas the others we received a not unsubstantial settlement. If Burgess is to go to the elsewhere best he goes now while his value is at it's highest in terms of a possible settlement. |
