Brierley mentions in his denial that the conversation with Jukes never happened, he has no deal agreed with a club and he didn't ask for the pay rise.

If that's true (and it's difficult to say which side are telling the truth), then it could be Leigh being the ones sued over the claims they've made where they named the Bulls.

It's a funny old saga this one, and no mistake. It's nice for another club to be making the headlines for the wrong reasons for a change.

There are three candidates in HKR, Leigh, and Salford, Wakey have form, and Huddersfield, while they will probably pull it back round, are at least candidates for having a shocker. Whilst I take no joy in the failings of other clubs, it brings the dignified, steady approach of Bradford into stark relief and I take great pleasure in that.

I wouldn't wanna get into a legal wrangle with Beaumont because he may be the sort of man who will stop at nothing to preserve his pride, and taking issues with him to court could lead literally anywhere and could last a ling time.

Looking at both Leigh and Salford it makes me thankful we got Marc Green as our owner. He may not be a mega millionaire but he comes over as a very sensible chap who will do things right and that may count for us with the RFL if they have any quiet chats about changing the set up to allow dead wood to drop out of SL and devising a better way for a well run championship team to move up. We should stay well away from any of this nonsense and get on with building our club back up in a responsible way.

On Brierley, I doubt that many SL clubs will be looking at him. There has to be doubt about his ability at that level. He has apparently got set up for 2017 so it would be a short term deal that would be unsuitable for most clubs. Hudds are desperate for someone but most other teams are fine for halves.
