I can't imagine anybody wanting to buy the club at the moment unless the RFL change the rules on club ownership.

| There are people who might be in the market for sports clubs, but if one is in financial strife, the trick is to end up buying it for a quid off a liquidator. Not sure what the penalties for an insolvency are in the Championship but under this format I should thing playing-wise not much - you could still make the Super 8s with a 6 point penalty. That's in general terms though. Turning to our own case, it is seriously to be hoped we aren't going down such a road again because if we did, I wouldn't see many ways back this time round.
If we have major problems - let's hope we don't - I wonder what Mandy is up to nowadays?

| Is it possible that Jimmy was aware of this situation which possibly explains his reaction at the end of the £1m game. Did he know more than us how important it was that we won and got that extra £1m into the club? Did he actually speak the truth in frustration?
If the HMRC did make a mistake and a club lost possible sales and investment because of it couldn't the club sue them. If so, I would be very surprised if it is a mistake. Surely they would get their facts right and inform the business before it was advertised - thus possibly badly affecting the businesses income. My gut feeling is there is some truth in this somewhere - but hopefully just a small amount which triggered an automatic reaction from HMRC.
This doesn't feel right to me and I assume the club has struggled again at some point.
It makes it clear to me that we MUST go up at the end of this next season otherwise we could be stuck here and downsize to match - which could see us become a permanent championship club until the RFL devise a plan to get us up, but they will only do that if the club is stable. If we have yet another financial crisis that could make the RFL decide we need to stay in the championship for many years till we have proven over a 5-10 year spell that we are run properly again. If we did mess up again and I were the RFL I wouldn't go out of my way to get us up for quite a few years of stability. Green taking over was our chance to show that. Lets hope we haven't just taken two steps backwards again and scared the RFL off finding a way of getting us up again.

| I wonder if it's the VAT that is owing, the VAT element is the most likely to act without much thought as they are a very poweful element of the tax collection process. Compensation if they got it wrong is virtually unheard of.
In my experience owing income tax is better than VAT ie prisoners are not taken.
Let's hope it's neither!

Why should the RFL help you up.
What makes Bradford so special that you think you don't deserve to be where you are.
If you want out of the championship, earn it.

When your club has been through as much as our club you can comment. There were lots of things that went on with our Club which have never come to light and which we had no control over. We dont want your sympathy and we never take anything for granted. Your advice we dont need.

| It's about time the RFL got a grip of the situation that Bulls find themselves in for the third time. All they have Over other Clubs is a larger Fan base. It's a business that gets subsidised by income via Sky . Khan used others money and Green got control on the basis of a loan he made. The Councils loan has never been paid back but plenty have filled their boots. The fans are arrogant in thinking that Taxes do not need to be paid.
Stop expecting hand outs it is getting Rugby League a bad reputation.
