I'm not condoning it but at the same time I can see the logic in making a move now.

You also can't say you didn't expect clubs to come knocking for your better players if you can offload a few players and give yourselfs a bit of time to find a buyer surely that is better than losing your club altogether..

Quite. I thought I was a dab hand at holding a grudge, but I'm a rank amateur compared to some of our fans and the Radford/TV cases.

FWIW I take no personal pleasure in what's happening at all, but I understand why our club (and others) would seek to take advantage of the situation. Sport is a business now.

I'm glad some of the 'moral crusaders' FC fans aren't our Chairman ! Whilst they would be sat there shaking their heads at other Chairmen acquiring players , we would get not 1 player ! oh well at least whilst other Clubs are beating us , we can hold our head up high !

Get real - my post says it's about £££ and we have it - FACT , also Bulls did 'steal' Radford and others whilst they had the £££ and we didn't - FACT. I am not gloating , just pointing the obvious out to fans who were delighted when they took FCs players

I like Bradford, always have, had many great times with their fans at matches.

I think emotion is getting the better of some Bradford fans, it's such a sad story with regards to what your club is going through, it must be horrible, not only for the fans but everyone connected to the Bulls.

If it was my team (Hull F.C) I would be very upset.

I think everyone should just sit back for a moment and look at the situation in the true way it is. Hull F.C and other superleague clubs are looking to strengthen, the bulls have released their coaching staff, and sadly look likely not to "raise" the funds needed.

The chairman at the Bulls are well aware of this, so they have allowed other superleague clubs to approach their high earning players, to remove the pressure on the wage bill, knowing full well their high earning "assets" are worth a fee, so Bradford in a way will be welcoming the sale of the players.

At the end of the day, if Bradford did not do this, they would not get the funds to stay a-float. If they sell their players to other clubs, they will hopefully have the funds to pay, if they failed to sell their players, they would become "free agents" if they was to go out of business.

SO in reality, it's the only way forward for the Bradford Bulls.

I hope Bradford stay a-float.

Rugby league holds very good passionate fans, no one needs to gloat at others misfortunes, don't forget, we was in the same position before!

I agree with everything you say. Its a business like it or not and the players should be looking at their options, other clubs should be (and are) looking at how they can benefit, we should be looking to see if we need to sell or hold a squad together. Fine. But there are numerous clubs that have made offers and will be making offers, but there is nothing from the other clubs in the public domain as far as I'm aware, (other than when we have mentioned Warringtons interest in Bateman) and no other sl clubs fans have started a thread entitled "Money talks and we have it...." on the Bradford forum, that is just gloating, and thats what people have taken exception to, and what people will remember. It just lines the hull fans who gloat like the op up with our friends from Fev, Keighley and Halifax. Thankfully I suspect the majority however are more reasoned like yourself. Every club has its village idiots, including ours.

There's a difference between moving to take advantage of a situation, and revelling in it. I doubt when our chairman approached Bradford he opened with 'Now then paupers, I've got sacks of cash.' It's unnecessary, unhelpful, and crass. At times like this I realise why Hull fans have such a poor reputation in some quarters and simply hope that all of us will not be considered the same.
