| With our shocking injuries, I have a feeling this could be a "two steps back" game. I hope not. I really hope we can kick on from Sat.

| Quote martinwildbull="martinwildbull"Manase carried 90 metres on Saturday, same as Koppy. If Scruton performs as he did 2 seasons ago, 67 metres a game instead of 37 so far this season, and Tom performs as he did last season and does 89 metres a game instead of 55, then Koppys carries are covered. tackles where we are only short by a few, and would need a few more from Manase and Scrutton than their performances so far this season. Our defence is critical and certainly Lulia and Platt were massively better against Warrington than against Wigan, and that is going to be key to stiffling KR. Given our recent form, and the better quality opponent we have played, those stats a KR fan mentioned do not tell the whole story. What is key is whether the mind set of recent games is taken into the KR game.'"
Better opposition? Id say we have both played 3 of the strongest teams each, you have played catalans wigan and warrington, we have played leeds saints and warrington.
all 5 teams i expect to make the top 6

| Immediately after the Wire game I thiought we could go to HKR and scrape a win. Now, with the injuries I think we may compete for 60- mins and then we'll see HKR run away with it in the last 20

| Although Koppy and Kear are missing, Scruton and Ainscough/Pryce are more than capable of stepping up and delivering the same (or close to) as the players that are missing.
I am still expecting a win (providing Sammut is passed fit)

| Interesting to see how this John Bateman goes, heard rave reviews about the lad and he played pretty well against Wire.

Kearney & Sammut will definitely play after early worry in the week.
Chev Walker & Karl Pryce return.
It's not ideal but as others have said in that by Potter choosing to have such a big squad, we are well placed to cope with the adversity.
Roll on Saturday night

all 5 teams i expect to make the top 6'" thats not my point. look at the table. Out of our five opponents, we have both played two, Wire and Wakie. then there are 3 (x 2) others which only one of us have played. I used the term strong by reference to their league positions, if you start at the highest positioned team out of the 6, its Wigan who we have played, who are higher than the highest team you have played and so on for all three for each team down to Widnes who you have played but we havent, our corresponding team is Cas, who have conceded 70 less points more than Widnes. And take it further, look at our respective results against the two teams we both have played. That was all in response to a KR fan who said that you have better stats than us therefore you were going to win.
But thats only an indication, and its what happens on the day that counts (to trot out the old cliche). And whether the attitude of the bulls shown in the last two games, Wakie and Warrington, is strong enough to overcome the disruption of yet more injuries. Sky could have got it right, this could be an absolutely riveting game and an advert for the quality away from the top 6.
