I never said they were all great, I never said we should not change the coach. I just implied that Franny had a nigh on impossible task.

I think most people give Cummins the credit he deserves and if after all known departures, those left came out every week and played as if their hearts were in it, and walked off the field having demonstrably given it everything, then I would still support Cummins staying on.

It isn't the personnel he had left winning or losing, it's how they played the game.

Think his time had come. The clubs pretty much already down you can't keep the coach that's in charge of that. Also were shipping 40+ points a game. Something had to give

I cannot argue with any of this but when you get a big hit from someone like Oliver or Tom Burgess or a bit of magic from Jarrod it gives the team a lift. The only top quality player we have at present IMHO is Brett

Like most bulls fans I am hugely appreciative to Francis Cummins for all the work he has done under almost impossible circumstances. However, for the last 2 capitulations the squad has been more settled with players available yet still he persisted with playing players out of position. The tactics have been questionable for most of this season and the defence non existent, these are nothing to do with what's happening off the field they are the coaches job. In respect of the list of players leaving I find it alarming that apart from the props we lost for financial reasons. The four big losses on there Sammut,Whitehead,Bateman & L'Estrange all left after falling out with Cummins. We won't ever know the full story behind those departures but it shows that man management is/was not his strength.

Noble for the end of this season and Morrison for next maybe?

He signed his own death warrant earlier in the season I think, could be seen he wasn't the disciplinarian and when players didn't perform I really don't think there where any reprocusions from it, he has had his hands tied we can all see that, but getting hiding each week says something, if we where losing by the odd try or two then fair enough he can say the usually spiel but 40-50pt thumping a isnt good enough.

I still feel the same now as I did when I was postulating about this very situation in April on the "Relegation" thread.
