Pretty much agree with that. Combination of short turn round and injuries realistically made this game a bridge too far. That said I hoped we would keep margin a bit lower.
Two week rest now to regroup and hopefully get a few bodies back. If there isn't a noticeable improvement next match, especially defensively, then we need to start worrying IMO. |

No excuses, but surely a short turn around and players out and dropping like flies must be reasons to try and explain why. They must be knackered, Langley wasn't even in the squad and yet turned up so he obviously wasn't fit. We really need some numbers back, but Duffy said nobody is back for at least a month.
Having said that, Luke Gale, he doesn't look anywhere near good enough.

| Well not many believed me over on the entertainers when I called it. But I did think Bradford would score a few which is probably why the Saints scoreline crept higher than expected.

Gale has 1 good game and a bunch of poor ones. Like Briggs without the kicking game.
Ainscough tries hard but he's not a fb. Considering the number of games they've played in the positions I felt him and Platt should have been switched round.

Was a fair call, I was a bit dubious to it, but I hoped he would do well. Thus far, his organisation and kicking game looks pish poor and his defence, jeeeeez. Our best games have come with BJ and Sammut and I hope we get back to that when Sammut is fit because ATM, Luke Gale just isn't doing it right. |
