I don't think it was late, Herbert was falling backwards when he kicked the ball and Wilkin hit him as it left his foot.
Not that it matters now, a fair draw.

| Deffo penalty.
Hopefully the RFL will reflect on Disko's comments and realise that they were made immediately after the game when adrenaline and emotion are running high.
Then again, we're talking about the RFL . . . . . bugger

It was high, though.

Childs seems to miss a lot IMO, was the same in the hudds game

Having watched it again, it's a hard one to call and I can see why it wouldn't be given.
But what about Wilkin's massive hit on Kearney? His knees went into Kearney first. And the smirk when he gets away with a rip really pi$$es me off!

I didn't notice the knees I must say. But I did see his smirk. He really is an arrogant, cocky piece of sh it.
Trying to be more positive, the hits from Elima & Sio were absolute belters.

| Diskin is 100% right... Your first try was scored on the SEVENTH tackle!! Big influence on the game!

| I'd give Child 5/10. Got the Lynch decision right. Missed the high tackle on Herbert but perhaps should have had more help from the TJ.
He had difficulties with the "strip or loose carry" decisions and got a few wrong. But those are difficult decisions made worse by the wet conditions. In that respect I'd bracket him with Ah Van & Burgess as not handling the conditions as well as he might.

| Childs 8 out of 10 given the conditions.
Diskin 2 out of 10 for comments. An extra point awarded due to the emotion of the game.

Agree totally on that, no charge down, just charged at herbert and caught him flush on the chin with forearm. Disgraceful from Child & his TJ's to let that go.
Numerous erros from Child yet again, forward passes missed, strips missed and an abject failure to be consistent during the game when applying the same rules.
Cost Bradford a try by blowing up immediately after a Saints knock on when a Bulls player picked it up within a second and was clean through.
Roby could also be introuble for putting undue pressure on an opponent in a three man tackle. Missed by Child yet again.
Even James Child's Dad says he is having an awful season. Having pert time refs in a full time game simply does not work.
An enthralling game in itself and Lynch had a brain fat at the end which cost the Bulls a point. Bradford are entitled to feel hard done to purely because Child missed so many similarly obvious penalties and did nothing.
Credit to Saints for a great effort with so many players backing up. Credit to the Bulls for toughing it out after losing L'Estrange and putting themselves in a position to win against a better side.
Very harsh call to chalk off Eastmond try, just about the only thing the officials got wrong for Saints.

Why, did the conditions affect Child's eyesight and judgemt? he was awful decision and position wise and his TJ's were useless too. Missed everything.

What about giving the opposition 7 tackles to score a try? I'd say that's wrong. Suppose you did say 'just about'...

| When did we have 7 tackles? I think this is one of those made up things that someone said and now Saints fans are jumping on board as gospel.
