full back will be either kearney or sykes as think we will have a new stand off within next couple of weeks
also dont think hall will be in 2nd row as all the rumours point to him being given the boot at bradford which i hope so as hes been poor and is a waste of a quota spot.
to be honest think with having ainscough and ah van for the wings halley could struggle to get in time

| Quote: Roofaldo "Yes, we are a lot stronger in terms of depth all over the park. But the half back situation is what needs addressing. If the club has a half back lined up, I'd prefer they announced it sooner rather than later as it would go some way to settle the nerves.'"
We could be waiting until the player's season is over. If we were still in the play offs we'd not want the disruption of a half back announcing that he's off. I seem to remember that Leon wasn't announced as leaving until after the GF? Let's hope that's repeated...

| Leon's season is already over so I can't see what impact that would have. To be honest, I've said the same thing for the past few years and have been disappointed!

| Well there could be the factor of us being allowed to approach a player before 1st Sept by the club but that we're not allowed to announce the signing until that club's season is offically over.
It's a bit unfair on Hall regarding this season. Given his home situation shortly before he joined us, as well as being played as a prop all season when, really, he's a 2nd rower didn't help. However, I agree there are a few question marks over his fitness. If he is to leave then I wish him the best.

Totally agree.
I'd rather use hall in the back row than Sibbit, although Sibbit is likely to be cover.

think the hall rumour is based on what a section of fans would like to happen. in reality theres little chance. hall was fairly highly rated when he came over and will be on a good wage. Unless he agrees to leave by mutual consent we'd have to pay out remainder of his contract which would count against our salary cap. from halls point of view why woud he voluntarily walk away.
Whilst it would be nice to think we could terminate contract of any player that isnt performing with no comeback in practise we cant just end a contract because the player is playing poorly. If he unavailable through injury for a long time then thats a different issue but it doesnt apply in halls case.

Agree with all that.

| Hall was highly rated only by those that dont know what they are doing. Like Steve Mac. Hes a prop not a secon rower anyway. Doesnt have the agility tobe anything else. Waste of money the lump of lard.

Agree, Hall is a big flop. He was garbage at Manly, and i really dont understand why we signed him in the first place. Many better 2nd rows in Superleague than wasting a quota spot and spending loads on the cap for this crap.

| I agreed he was highly rated. Not whether those doing the rating knew what they were on about.
Hall must play in the backrow next year if we're to get anything out of him.
As for his salary I haven't a clue about that.

As far as I can see, not quite big enough for a prop and not quick enough for a second rower. But I'm sure I've seen him playa lot better when he was at Manly, I know some disagree on this matter

| Well there's certainly going to be competition for places next year.
As well as a number of players who'll feel that they have something to prove.
But the question marks over Orford remain and, as I'm sure the club are aware, it needs to be resolved ASAP

Or, it's already been resolved and they don't want to mention it until after pledge deadline?
