Then on Sunday evening you get to wrap it all up with a game of Rugby meaning you can go into work frustrated, disappointed and surrounded by Rhinos.
Pah. Is it possible to unpledge?!'"
I thought the point of going to Rugby was to get out of that?

| First choice for me & her indoors would be Friday at 8pm. Then I do love a Sunday afternoon (3pm) game. I don't like them on Saturday nights though.

| Friday nights would make it virtually impossible for me to get to from Birmingham due to work commitments

| If it was to be on a Sunday at 6 or 8.
How would this affect the amount of away fans?

| Not unduly I suspect, although 8pm can make it a late arrival home if you are working the next day after a 1 or 2 hour trip after the match

| I wouldn't be in favour of 8pm on a Sun, I think that would be a complete disaster!!!

| Indeed it would.
Both for home supporters and away ones as I replied to <Guess Who>

| Can't do Saturdays so the pledge I just made would be rendered worthless, sod the legalities, I wouldn't be honouring it. Also I want to take my 3 and 1 year old kids so 8pm is an ar£e as well.
My advice is don't bugger about and keep kick off on a sunday at either 3pm or 6pm.

| Its a good point, now we're getting people to pledge to turn up I guess we have to stick with this seasons kick off time, can't get people to promise to pay and then change the kick off time.
Sunday 3pm it is....even though I'd still prefer 6pm

I can't see any change coming up any time soon. Why would they? Every time they've canvassed opinion the fans have voted for Sunday by a biggish margin.
The last time it was changed was driven by complaints about last minute moves (for Sky) mostly to Friday nights, so the club decided to move [iall[/i games to Friday night. I took the complaints to be about a different issue than the club did; I assumed the complaints were driven by the fact that games were changed to the Friday (my complaints certainly were), whereas the club obviously took the view that it was the [imoving[/i, and not having a standard day and time for home matches that people were complaining about. However effects of the change were negative and it was reversed. It doesn't seem that the general opinion has changed.

Precisely.
Also factor in that the club are already effectively selling ST's for next year and shuffling around with k.o times would be plainly stupid. It won't happen.
3pm Sunday's it will remain. Rightly.

So if away fans, were going to come over and bring there young kids. It could make it a late return home.
I think 8 would be a bad idea.

| Sunday at 6pm would be utopia for me. I work away most of the week and can find it difficult justifying spending Sunday afternoons out too. But a later kick-off would mean I could do almost a full weekend at home and then round it off nicely with a trip to Odsal (and it wouldn't be too late for the kids). Perfect.
