I'm inclined to believe absolutely nothing. Not to cause any offence to those saying they know, but the amount of times I've heard things are getting sorted and then it hasn't happened, I don't believe a word anyone says any more. I'll wait and see what happens. I'm slowly losing the will to live with it in all honesty.

I actually believe that a couple of posters have been spot on throughout this - until the actual goalposts changed, time and again, and they lost their position of knowledge as their source moved out of the picture.

I want to say I'm past caring, but I know as soon as the deal is struck, I'm going to be on the inevitable 'whick players have we still got and who else can we sign' thread (even allowing for the fact that I know we won't have the money for signings).

Excellent, then just tell us the bare bones of the deal, you know, who is it, what's the deal with RFL and stadium, what's the deal with administrator, what's the deal with players, oh and what infastucture did they manage to put in place in a day as regards the new club moving forward?

OK. The new owner is a bloke (or a woman) possibly with some mates.
The RFL will let us play rugby at a stadium and we will sign some players.

To be honest, I don't think any one single person really knows, "what is going on". I think there is the occasional person on here, mostly different every time, who is in the right place at the right time who then share what they've heard, or think they know. It's daft to expect that secrets can be kept when there are multiple bids involving two and three partners and there must be many people with inside knowledge of the individual bids. Having a bit of knowledge, or even a full breakdown of one bid, doesn't mean they know, "what's going on", though.

That is what I think we've seen on here. Same goes for the players' dads too. How many players are involved? Start counting their relations and it must be dozens, if not hundreds. The odds on one of them being, 'indiscreet', on a msg board won't be that high.

I was once the person in the know. A few years back, I was given information about a player who was going to be announced - I did keep it to myself though...
