Quote: Ferocious Aardvark "FFS this idiot. Relegation? If there was a league for trolls you would be the favourite to drop into the Conference, you're really, really rubbish. You are that bad, you aren't even annoying. You are so bad at it, you make the pits look like the Himalayas. You are to trolling what Toulouse Lautrec was to pole vaulting.

On the basis that you don't have even a single redeeming feature, you are a waste of my pixels and so off you go in my bin (sorry you are alone in it at the moment, but at least you can jump from bin to bin as you'll have a choice of plenty i reckon)'"

That's all well and good; but I must admit I very much liked the approach of TrinityIHC (all trademarks and copyrights acknowledged) on the Wakefield forum, when confronted with the same trollhttps://i0.wp.com/memecollection.net/wp-content/uploads/2013/08/Whattodowithyouropinion-91961.png?w

Nice one, but not valid re this particular toilet as it is not, of course, actually offering an opinion.

Good point. And since what it was actually offering was excrement, for sure we'd need some variant on the instructions for it to follow anyway...

It's the booing I love. No-one does it better, earlier, longer or louder than Wakey. Even when there are only 2,000 at Belle Vue.

Purtell did very well to get that down. he has been excellent in both games, if he can keep it up it's a bit like we've gained a proper decent centre.

Quote: mystic eddie "Personally I could not give a stuff about the quality of the game last night. Given that the two sides are strongly tipped for the drop and it was a "roll your sleeves up and get stuck in" kinda night then what was anyone really expecting?

The twopoints were all that mattered and they were vital. I am pretty sure that Wire would take an ugly win tonight, or Wigan tomorrow for that matter.

It was a crap night, in a crap town, on a crap pitch, in a crap stadium, in front of a crap crowd and yet some people seem to expect State of Origin quality?

Don't be so silly.

Welldone lads. Great effort, comfortable win and a good starting ground with a very winnable game next up. We got the points, and now have a good break before the next game, which may allow us to make those short term deals a bit longer.

Blythe and Ferguson still to come back too.

Looking a bit brighter.'"

It makes a change for us to get one of those 'Benefit of the Doubt' tries. To be fair you couldn't tell whether Purtell got it down or not as the ball was obscured, so if 'BOD' goes to the attack, which seems to be the modus operandi these days, then it was a fair decision.

Wakey were unfortunate in theirs as the video clearly picked out they weren't scored, so no 'BOD'. Just glad it went our way for once.

There were lots of good performances for us, particularly in defence and the extra weight on show really made the difference from last week. The spirit in the side was enormous. Proud to be a Bull.

I almost entirely agree, except that as Cummings (who is hardly our best mate) pointed out on the Sky recording, the very first camera shot, from almost head on, did seem to show the curve of the ball down on the line clearly enough. And after that there was no other shot to negate that so I can't see how it could have been NOT given - experts though we are at reasons not to award being improbably found.

You deserved to win whether it was a try or not, neither side was great but Wakey were terrible.

How can that be unfortunate? If the video clearly picks out that the ball was not down, then its correct, not unfortunate? icon_biggrin.gif

It was not given as BOD though. It was given as a try.
