someone on the 606 website has said we have signed Paul Cooke and he seems very confident about it. ill take it with a pinch of salt at moment but surely this cant be true!

People on the same forum were convinced he'd signed for Hull too. Until Hull came out yesterday and said Paul Cooke will never be offered a contract by them (and rightly so).

If we DID sign Paul Cooke, and I don't for a minute think we will, I think there will be a lot of very annoyed fans. Which considering the current "feel good" factor around Odsal and the club, I think would do more harm than good. He's just not worth the hassle and I'll be surprised if any Super League club agrees to sign him.

Id be extremely mad if we signed him. Hes nothing but trouble and is far past his best

Paul Cooke is a good player IMO.

Paul Cooke is garbage and nothing more than a trouble causer.

I think its safe to discount that one (thankfully) given that its from the 606 board.

Whatever talents Mr Cooke might still pocess are far outweighted by his baggage.

Where's Paul? He will be able to re-assure us all this is rubbish.....hopefully
