| After effects of some illness apparently.
Flanagan snr may bring enthusiasm but you want that from everyone. After his various bans I would've let him go.
However, with Walker out we probably need to play Holmes at FB which rather messes up the halfbacks. I don't like what I've seen of Patton but we're stuck with him. I'd probably go with him and Lawford and Lilley at No9. Roby on the bench.
I expect Dunning to go with Flanagan snr though.

| Yeah I think the changes will come in the forwards with Appo & Matongo coming in and he'll stick with Lilley/Patton. It's not the creativity that really worries me, it's if those two can keep their heads, stick to the game plan and keep us organised in what will inevitably be a tight game.
For all the grief Flanagan gets, i don't really remember him giving away penalties or kicking the ball on the second tackle last week.
Absolutely huge game this. Lose this and we'll inevitably end up 1 from 5. Would love to be proved wrong as I can see some of Dunnings stamp on things, but not sure he'll recover from a defeat today unless he pulls off a surprise victory against Fev or Toulouse. Widnes have two of their best players, in key positions missing. We're at home against a play-off rival. Absolute zero excuse today.
Expect Ant Walker to be man of the match.

| Is our main parking option still first come, first served at the stadium?

| Brainfart by Holmes, throwing ball at opposing player - sent off, then a potential spear tackle from us gift Widnes 6 points, right in front of the posts.
The "fines" for penalties is really helping our discipline - not !

| On the positive side, Roby, Appo, and Matongo all looking lively, and Lilley putting in good runs

| Two very average teams out there. Fatty Walker's errors cost Widnes. Our indiscipline and errors nearly cost us.
Thought Lilley, England, Roby, Appo and Rogers were decent. Still lots to work on.

| The main thing for me was that the 2022 Bulls would have folded today. Much better attitude and desire

Agreed. I can't remember the last time we won in the last minute. Last year in particular, if we were losing with 15 to go you knew that was it.
As Bullseye said, lots to work on though.

| Lilley looked his best when going from dummy half. He looked sharp.
England was great. Appo looked strong.
Holmes very good.
Rogers and Roby impressive again
Defensivley very strong
Matongo in a bad way which is just frigging typical
Always great to nick a game lile that!
