Was shocked to find that Trotter did not have a Wikipedia page considering he won a few trophies with Northern so I have created one for him based on a couple of sources I could find. Are his total appearances 201 or 267? And thank you ever so much for the other statistics too! You haven't by any chance got Karl Fairbank's appearances as well have you pal?

How many games could he have played? The war robbed him of 6 years he only played 37 times for Northern during those years. My father said he was a genius of a Stand Off.'"
Thank you! And I heard he was mercurial as a Stand Off and Frank Whitcombe took it upon himself to be Davies 'minder' on the field and dished out any punishment to people who tried to take Willie out of the game.

12 Seasons with the club. 1985/86 until 1996. Think his last appearance may have been the 96 cup final but I'd have to check that.'"
I may be wrong here but didnt Jon have a few games for York at the start of 97.He definitley moved there but whether he actually turned out for them before injury curtailed his career I carnt be sure. Also was Gerry Cordle a one club man.Think he had those few seasons with us then went back down the valleys to mess about for a bit before retiring.Good stuff this very intresting.'"
As far as I can tell Hamer didn't play for Cas and was indeed a one club man and he started at prop in the 96 Cup Final.
I've always found the idea of one club men interesting, I was gutted that Langley went onto Hull KR as I was hoping he'd retire with us and become the most recent one club man since McDermott.
