If Leigh spend more than they are allowed to on their squad, the rfl just refuse to register the players, it's that simple. There won't be any side breaking the cap, and there won't be any point deductions.

Gone pretty much as expected. We were not good enough to take Wakeys place and so we stay in the Championship. We were better than last time and I felt we were in the game throughout but thats not enough. Can't see we will get as good a chance again. Not heard the coaches comments but can imagine what he said.

The problem is though it doesn't take much to finish top. We were very poor this season and still got into the £1m game. Couldn't beat the worst team in SL for years though because we played poorly all year but thought we could click our fingers and play like world champions again.

What sickens me is how the worst Sl team are left cheering and laughing at us because no matter how bad they are they are still better than us.

If they had lost would Smith have behaved like that in front of the cameras - I don't think so.

Can't say much more as I have just got in but if I ever hear the club say again we are a SL team playing in the championship I will throw up. Get real. We are a championship team full of championship players apart from just a couple.

Robbie posted something on twitter about it was so they could let Wakefield celebrate. Not sure I buy that - extremely poor form and even if it's true why would the Bulls fans want to stick around though Wakey celebrating. I just wanted to clap the team off and get home as quickly as possible

Wakefield are worthy of a place in Super League as they have earned the right to stay up. I wasn't aware of a performance measurement that needed to be passed? No side gaining promotion from any division would instantly be able to compete. It's a building process. Had the Bulls gained promotion then their salary cap would have doubled allowing them to build. If championship teams have to be as good as leeds and wigan to get promoted then we might as well scrap everything other than super league now.

My reply to him is we signed 32 players. The whole team has played SL or higher level. They have played cr*p all year and he is the coach - for now.

Head said we'd pull up just short of a victory and unfortunately that is how it turned out. I thought their pack would probably be the difference and I think that was also true today. For all their hard work and endeavour neither Sidlow or Clough really punched through the Wakefield defence. Ferguson was once again our most effective forward and caused Wakefield some problems.

Disappointed yes, but we all knew that everything is stacked in favour of SL clubs and it will take a very special effort for a Championship club to get up under the current rules. I think today was probably the best chance of a Championship club doing it against a very ordinary side by SL standard. Sadly we weren't good enough, definitely an opportunity wasted that I can't see being as good next year even if we make it back into the £1M game.
