London never went into Administration and as far as I am aware the same guy is still bank rolling them for 2014.

So the only change is the change of venue.

This is what puzzles me. Hughes was obviously bankrolling the club, so where did the threat of administration come from? Was it simply the threat of Hughes walking away?

The announcement of them avoiding admin recently never actually mentioned any investment in the club, only the ground share at Barnet.

Makes you wonder. If no investment or overseas quota lifted have the rfl said they wont be relegated next year which has persuaded hughes to keep going.

Would think clubs will rack up sums due to HMRC of between £100k and £200k a month based on size of payroll and VAT on gates. Or at £20 a ticket 7500 paying supporters a month.

That's the nub Nothus. It can't just be passed off as "business as usual", when admin was being mentioned as a serious consideration. It's clearly far more than just a new ground.

The RFL should have bought a ground in London & let them play there for a peppercorn rent.

Correct. The managed to shed the academy as well as getting rid of every staff member under the guise of "administration" neglecting to pay them all they were owed and making the club staff 11 players and Gus MacKay.
Other than that, it is exactly that...a new landlord for 2014 with no financial investment from anyone new......we have a new landlord who might invest in 2015.

Expect more of the same in 2014/2015

If you look at what happened the club shed nearly all the staff and most of the players at the end of the season. The announcement that the club may go into "administration" was made sometime after that. In fact the club never actually went in to the hands of the solicitors.
We survived by the skin of our teeth.
