Aye, and Eddie is hinting at it too. And, as we all know:

| Whilst its all well and good that the official travellers be refunded, there were plenty of bulls fans who "unofficially" drove there as well wasting plenty of petrol money. Personally i set off at 5.45 and got back home at 10.45 travelling 200 miles and will probably be doing the same journey on sunday hopefully minus the de tour this time!

Very sporting of Franny to agree to postponing. At the same time I totally appreciate the other side of the coin - I'd be livid if that had happened to us - and do intend on going across on Sunday, being that this has been something I've been looking forward to all week. It better be a bloody good game though as car of 4 now has the thick end of £150 invested in it!'"
don't be so stupid! do you realise that the bulls team coach was actually stuck before the junction so the police were able to divert them via the hard shoulder, the hull players stuck were after the junction, or stuck in 'no mans land' and had no other alternative
thank yourself lucky you never spent over £300 to go to france and have a game called off and only get £20 back in refund for the match ticket!

At the moment the forecast for tonight and tomorrow doesn't look that bad - we might even miss the snow altogether.
I'll post updates if I see any. Take it steady, though, anyone coming over.

That would have been extremely harsh on Hull FC, who were not to blame for the match postponement.
Thankfully your club and the match commissioner were a little more rational.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |

| I think with only 2/3 players missing, the game would have been played. But with 8, a lot of ill will would have been generated if the game had been forced

| I think you'll find the beef/horse joke was mine...
I understand it from both sides about the money - very unfortunate it cost travel money for a game that didn't happen, but you can be almost certain if the call had been made earlier, the motorway would have been cleared and lambasting would have commenced for the lunacy of the knee jerk reaction because the game could have gone on.
As for forefitting the two points, don't be so daft

I think the problem tomorrow will be more over this way.
Forecast for Bradford is light snow overnight and most of the day. For the hills west of the city (and therefore me) the forecast worsens to heavy snow all morning. Given how the Bradford bowl grinds to a halt in snow, tomorrow could be interesting - especially for those living in the higher parts of the city region.

| It's not bad over here at the moment, dry but overcast.
No snow expected but heavy rain from lunch throughout the afternoon.
Safe travel, all.

| If it had been the other way round & the RFL had made Bulls play with half a junior team or taken the 2 points this site would have been full of more RFL anti-Bulls conspiracies.

| Indeed. I want to go and watch a fair game of RL and I will enjoy the victory much more if we come away with the points against their strongest side (injuries to one side). Little if anything could have realistically been done to avoid the problems on Friday, time to move on!

Quite agree. We need to see a real match, not a men versus boys.
Travel safely.

| I live about 30 minutes west of Hull and the weather is fine here so you should be okay on the journey over once you get out of Bradford (all bad weather must be over your way).
