A good history lesson from His Bobness--"It's tough but the real fans among you will stay the course - and find there is plenty of enjoyable rugby outside of Super League." Exactly
If we fold and reform I will definitely continue to support a Bradford team in C1. However I don't think I'll be travelling to Skolars South Wales North Wales Gateshead and all the expansion teams that will be included next year. So I'll probably also continue watching a team in the Championship, in my case Batley. I will not transfer my allegiance to another SL team. In fact I will:
cancel my sky subscription
stop going to internationals
stop going to Magic weekend
stop going to the Grand Final
stop going to the Cup Final
The net saving to me and the family will be well over £1000.
I suspect other Bulls fans will take some or all of those actions. Perhaps if there's enough of us ,Red Hall might realise that not having a Super league presence in one of the biggest cities in Northern England does have some consequences for their flagship league and it's sponsors. But they can console themselves with the thought that they control a large stadium which cannot be used for any other purpose than Rugby League until 2020.

Fair enough, everyone has a right to their own decisions although I can't see my sky or the internationals going.

If you actually enjoy doing those things then why cut off your nose to spite your face?

Surely you won't only be able to enjoy them while Bradford Bulls are in Super League unconditionally?

I will still see and enjoy Rugby League and will continue to support the club I started watching when it was bottom of the league in the early 60's-- before the Foster / Phillips rescue.I will also increase my involvement with a well run Championship side at Mount Pleasant.
But having lost all faith in those running Superleague, I will not support their ventures at the top level of the game--sorry business.

If we drop out of SL my Sky sports will go, if we are in the lower leagues then that will be my interest not SL. I haven't been to an international for years and only go to cup finals, play-off finals or MM if we're involved so that won't change. I'll still follow the club home and away though, it's been too long to change now..

Same here. Lose the Bulls and lose me.

I'll keep Sky sports though for other sports that I watch but I'll probably not bother with Superleague anymore.

I'll not go to any internationals anymore or anything like that either.

It's not cutting my nose off to spite my face I'll just be interested in something else.

If the Bulls folded and then a club didn't reform I doubt I'd bother with professional Rugby League full stop.

No, it's not mate you're absolutely right, the end of the world would be not having a club. And even that is probably an exaggeration....probably. But just as many in the Championship regard SL as some sort of, holy grail which they must have, then equally when you are in SL you don't necessarily want to play in the Championship either. Particularly when it appears we are being railroaded into it.

I don't have a problem with having a club in CC1, but why can't the RFL come clean about where we will be rather than stringing us along and saying we can't guarantee this, that or the other. If it's to be no SL then i would rather see us fold now and start a new club in CC1.
How can you expect some one to cough up big bucks for the club only to find it starts next season in CC1, when you could form a new club for a fraction of the price. Three years ago Doncaster went into admin and were relegated to CC1. They reformed the club with very little money and a support base of around 250! Last week they achieved promotion, have trebled their crowds and are operating at a small profit.
It can be done and i'm sure Bradford would steam through the division much easier than the likes of Donny. Just a little honesty from the RFL as to where the club will find itself is all i ask.

I'm not saying it is the end of the world. I'm just saying that if that's where the bulls are playing I probably won't bother watching Super league.

Much the same way that I don't really bother with Premier league football because I don't support a team in it.

I Must admit the RFL need to get this sorted ASAP just so that you can move on ......... if you love your Rugby and i'm sure you all do then may it be Championship 1 or Super Duper League you need to know NOW !

id like to say that if they intend us to drop it would help both us and the replacement side to have some notice and planning.

Precisely! Remember when huddersfield were thrown in at short notice because Paris St Germain had fallen by the wayside?

I'm with you.

To be honest, I'm quite warming up to the idea of rolling up my sleeves and getting involved with a Championship I club operated as some model of 'supporter led'.

Basically, I'm just sick of it dragging on and on and on with no clear signs of resolution

Have to agree. Sick of it now after all these weeks and months. I have supported Northern/Bulls since I was 8 and I am now 63. Was at the last home match before they folded in 1963. If we are in the Championship well so be it, we will still be there. Sod em all I say!
