We really are such a poor team at the moment. We actually started well and put on some good plays and scored some good quality tries. But then for some unknown reason we reverted back to the usual. Same old silly errors, same old needless penalties, same old boring slow attack.

We have no movement in attack and no runners. We must be the easiest side to defend against in SL at times. Our only options are a crossfield kick or hoping we can barge over the line. Our defence on the fringes is simply woeful, unfortunately nothing can be done to solve that in 2012.

That team should have been more than capable of getting a result today against a Cas side missing players and having a mid week match.

My only hope is that we bring in the right players at the end of the year. Although I seem to remember having a similar 'hope' last season as well.
We badly need a running threat at halfback and another quality centre to follow from the Lulia capture. I can barely wait for next weeks embarrassment.

Old more experience heads making stupid mistakes, eg, Langley inhis 25min stint 3 penalties, Diskin dropping off tackles, penalties and also being a lazy so and so and not shutting down the hole in side by not sliding foe Arundals try.
People slating herbert need to get a grip and watch the same game as everyone else. Herbert today ball in Handdown the left side was brilliant, tearing holes up with elima, whitehead and Raynor. Kicking Cas into their own 20 alot of the time only for somestupid old timer to give a penalty and make his kick pointless, in the second half the distribution of the ball then went away from Herbert to the right hand side goingaway from what had been working, for all the idiots who sayhe dunt do enough... If he doesnt get the ball feed to him down his channel he CANT DO ANYTHING! And no he shudnt go lookingfor it if his channel is the left side he shud stick to the left flank at 2ndreceiver

I Can't believe some people have slated Kopczak over the pile of crap that is Andy Lynch, he was terrible. Team has no fitness and died after 60 minutes as per usual. When we needed our halfbacks most they were non existent. Penalties cost us dearly as it seemed like every one of Cas' tries came from them. No lines no invention in those last 20 mins, poor result. Burgess is a powerhouse but i can see him being worn down the amount of work we make him go through. Next season's signings should be interesting as we definitely need an injection of class in that side.

Any news on Langley? Didn't come back on for the second half.

It's horrible to say but despite him being our third top try scorer Lynch is a player very much in decline.

Our problem is self-belief, and character. I remember Potter saying our heads go down after making mistakes, and it was so evident today. The brand of rugby early on was superb, yet we let Cas into the game through silly penalties and we reverted to nothing rugby.

So, rllosing is becoming abit of a bad habitrl for us at this moment. We don't seem to have the belief to win from behind.

Sad but true he is a shade of the player he once was. the amount of times he was tackled by one man today and put down with little effort was shocking. He must look at Burgess and think why can't i do that because the kid is showing him up. For all the criticism of Herbert he was pivotal in all Bradford did well today but sadly disappeared when we needed him most at the end as did Jeffries.

I've never seen Diskin play as poor as he did today, and he knows it judging by his Twitter.

God, what a shambles. For the first ten minutes, we looked like a different team. Energetic and imaginative in attack and seemingly scoring at will. But after that, the same old 5h1t different day. Poor defence, poor decsion making, no team work, stupid penalties, etc, etc.
Painful to watch another season going down the toilet in such an abject way.

And FWIW, I though Herbert was our best player today, everything that we did good seemed to come through him.

We just dont have enough quality. How many more poor seasons will we endure ?
