Having watched yesterdays game and a few other of your live televised games, Danny Addy hasn't looked all that good to be honest, very weak in defence, i used to play against him at amateur level when he played for Knottingley Rockware and was an outstanding loose forward, from what iv seen he doesn't seem to have stepped it up, what do you guys think?

He's showed flashes where he looks really good, but overall he hasn't really yet shown the consistent level of performance that his undoubted talent would suggest. It doesn't help that he seems to be in and out of the team with injuries and selection.

He's also not really a hooker, he's filling in there because of injury to Heath l'Estrange

Addy's got great skills, just needs to work on his defence. He's just a kid and will come good.

Addy has shown alot more than Donaldson, who was a lot more hyped.

he is only in th team due to goal kicking. we have other options yes so why does potter keep on selecting him ? he went for a big squad and state " the competition for places will be good for the lads"
so why has royston been dropped when he has been inform and ah van continued to be selected with his awful performances.

Addy hasn't really had his proper chance yet. He's doing an okay job out of position, when he can get a run at 13 I think we'll see him develop into a quality player.

Not for me he hasn't. He's been ran over more times than Paul Sykes.

Addy - played 7 - missed tackles 7

I appreciate Addy's been on the pitch alot less too, but his defence isnt that bad.

the thing with addy is that everyone has no doubt that he is a talented player.
what is hampering his develpoment is him being moved around to play where we need him to. okay we have injuried but if we want him to be a potential future england player then we need him in one position and that that. personally 6 would be a good option as Donno is at 13 with olibison , whitehead etc 2nd row and O'brien at 9

Can't put a side full of youngsters out all at once though. Addy is creative enough for 6, but not fast enough imo. It will be between him and Donno for the 13 shirt when Langers retires.

Id have Donno over Addy all day long !!

Depends what you want. Both can play in second row too remember, but Addy is certainly the more creative of the two. Donnos defence is alot better, but in attack we haven't seen his best yet.

O'Brien and Donno? That's a pack to be feared is that.

He doesn't have an attack. That's his problem, along with his size.
