| Quote batleyrhino="batleyrhino"You've just hit the only thing that is currently keeping BMD in a job at the moment.
If I were a betting man, I'd say Dave Furner could be the next man in the "hot seat" at Leeds, but I guess we will have to wait and see. Others are speculating on Graham Murray as he is currently available and has a great reputation at Leeds.'"
Rafa Benitez is out of work at the moment, let us beat you and we'll let you have him.
However,
beat us and we will send you Lee Saint Helaire. (evil we are)...

Not going to happen. We are the go-to club for teams wishing to kick start their season. If a team is in a bad run and need a victory then we will generously oblige.

At this moment in time this Leeds team is about as abject as it has been at anytime in the last ten years , you will never have a better chance than Thursday to tonk them , the Bulls by plenty I reckon .

Mick Potter, Nice guy, Crap Coach.
Look on the bright side, Leeds are shocking at the moment too. Best of luck for Thursday.

| Yet MP still managed to get Saints to finish in the top 2 and the GF two years in a row. The 2009 GF could have easily gone the other way and who knows what would have happened if Leon had been available last year? I think the Saints fans expected far too much from Potter, and treated him unfairly because he didn't buy into the Saints flamboyant 'entertainers' ethos. Just look at Leeds now to see the result of that kind of mind-set, and also Millward's efforts with Wigan. Potter IMO did a great job in blooding younger players for Saints, just a shame that Eastmond is turning his back on RL. I'd have Potter at Leeds in a heartbeat. Don't underestimate the size of the job he has with Bradford - the scale of changes in playing personnel plus the residual mindset from years under McNamara can't be brushed aside overnight.

| Yeah Exeter Rhino I think some Bulls fans don't realise how lucky we are to have Potter in charge. Players and coach had a nightmare on Saturday, no doubt about it, but he has the credentials to suggest he's going to turn it around. He hasn't won a major trophy yet but as you say he's done a lot more for Saints than he's been given credit, and lets not forget the '08 third place finish with unfancied Catalans.
Also, I wonder how much influence he had in some of the signings and retentions for this year. Some of them have been questionable to say the least, others just seem to have been snapped up because they were avalible. Hope I'm proved wrong by all of them, they're wearing our colours after all.
Course we need to do 100x better than Saturday but it isn't time to give up on the players or coach just yet.

| Potter's tactics obviously are not working but at the same time this Bradford side is very poor. Players such as Ainscough, Raynor, Walker, Platt and Sibbit should never be near a Bradford side. I miss the old Bradford now

You're being too harsh on Ainy and Platt. Both have justified their worth in a Bradford shirt this year (and last in reference to Platt) and formed a good partnership on our right edge.

I agree. We need platt back asap. Ainy seemed to play better with platt on his inside.
