To be honest I cannot see us letting Scruton go even if he wanted. We just don't have any replacements.
The fee could be used to pay creditors which could result in a 4 point decision rather than 6

I can understand Sammuts frustration, Gale gets and new deal and so does Sidlow but the club won't offer him one even after Carvells wage is gone. Strange one.

Could he defend.Not on what I heard.
Gaskell it is.
Cummins has enough to deal with without dissenting upset and aggro from within.
All for one and one for all.
There is still flair.
The tackle count will be massive for survival to see another season.
And harmony.

I think Cummins underrates Sammut massively. He said on SSN last week it would be Gaskell and Sammut fighting it out for SO and Gale is first choice SH. How he could even consider leaving Sammut out is beyond me. I can understand Jarrod's frustration.

Spot on! Sammut had EARNED the right to be our number one half back. How many games did he have a key role in us winning? Plenty! How many did Gale. The Hull game...
I just don't see what Gale has done to be our number 1 choice HB who we build the team around. Especially when it's resulting in possibly upsetting players who are having a bigger impact on outcome of games. Don't see why wee offered him a new contract either. What has he seriously done in the last two years? Very little. |

Sammut is not a great defender. but not many games will end 0 -0.
In a season you failed to make the play offs sammut was:
- 4th highest try scorer in the whole competition
- top 10 in tackle busts in the whole competition.
- 3rd highest clean breaks in the whole competition.
- top 4 metre maker in the Bulls.
Plenty of errors and missed tackles but a hell of a lot of strike. |
