| Why is it Whitcut is in every aspect of this sorry tale?
In the beginning - OK & Gerry with his 3 managers, Simon Kenny, Vipin Joshi & Ryan Whitcut.
Then it was just OK & RW
Then OK, RW & Mark Moore
Then RW & Mark Moore
Then RW, MM and the 2 new directors AC & IW
Then the RFL effectively barred RW
Then MM, AC & IW blamed OK & RW
Then OK sued RW & MM as individuals.
Now RW seems to be borrowing money from Securities, using the club as collateral (debenture was reported?)
Theres a fairly obvious common denominator (apart from my using initials, of course...)

| I’m still amazed at the size of the c0ck up that’s been made in such a short period of time. It takes a special sort of business acumen to make this much chaos. If we have a professional RL club in Bradford in the future please can it be run by some people with some ability and integrity and not another 10 bob millionaire?

The term "Successful Businessman" seems to be frequently used out of context - to the extent when I now hear the expression I assume it is being used as a euphemism for: hasn't a clue about business. It is also worthwhile differentiating between people who have genuinely managed an operational business with customers and people who got lucky holding assets - in this country normally overvalued property.
I assume at some stage in the near future the RFL will need to know if we can fulfil our fixture obligations so hopefully somewhere people are talking - urgently.

I realize the RFL have stated that their micro-management of clubs have left them short-staffed for other matters but if Whitcut has been a person with 'influence'at the club from the start, why wasn't the fit and proper person test applied then ?
It is stated in their operational rules rlHERErl

Also, didn't ok make whitcut, general manager? Meaning he could of taken out the loans, as if he were chairman, and not tell ok about it?'"
Ah. Whitcut sold Bateman (and according to the other 3 directors statement, without their knowledge or consent) for £90k. That would probably have covered the loss from the concert.

| Never mind RW. Safeguard Security owner Marc Green is an interesting character in his own right. I can certainly see how Whitless and Green could come to 'an arrangement'.
I'm open to PMs if anybody wants more.

| That Ryan Whitcut fella seems a bit dodgy. Can't believe nobody on here didn't question his fitness to be involved with the iconic Bradford bulls........

You still going on about this? I suppose it means you don't have to think about how London can't sign any players because no one wants to play for them. I mean, when even the captain demands to get out of the club because he's sick of losing every week, how can you expect to attract even the
And hey, maybe now you're a tenant in a conference league football ground you might get close to a sell out crowd one day. I mean, it won't be London fans selling it out but maybe Leeds or Wigan will take a few thousand down.

1. Seems we may be attracting a few players.....especially ones that like to be paid on time.
2. Jokes about London attendances or lack of them never get old......just like the ink on new directorship ratifications at Bradford never dries.
3. I was 100% spot on in my assessment of RW......that hurts you I know, but I was right and he looks likely to have caused more harm than even I suspected he would!

| Didn't OK sell RW a hotel a few years back? How did that get on?
Also, what's Kate Hardcastle upto? Didn't she say she'd continue to be involved with the new board?

| Please can this thread not degenerate into self aggrandising, told you so one upmanship.
Obviously I've not got any particular posters in mind. I just think that sort of thing hits a particularly bum note at the moment.
Thanks

Yes, you got one thing right and hey, turns out you didn't even need to make up all those facts you tried to pass off as true.

Fair enough. It's not that I take any pleasure in what is happening at Bradford BTW, it's just that if I could see what was happening from 12,000 miles away, then I am stunned that some on here felt the need to attack my observations as "made up" and "groundless".
It's not just Bradford BTW.....there area number of clubs where "owners" like the title and Kudos but have little desire to take any fiscal responsibility. Even in London we have a situation where a potential new investor is being paid by us to try before he buys and this will end in tears too. Upshot is that I suspect natural erosion will reduce SL to 12 clubs by the end of this year with little need for relegation and it's a question of who will be joining London on the scrap heap.

| Latest statement:
BRADFORD BULLS are pleased to announce that constructive talks have taken place today, between all important stakeholders, under the chairmanship of the Rugby Football League.
All parties concerned are working to maintain positive levels of progression, with a view to a final agreement being made over the club’s ownership in the near future.
Ian Watt, Andrew Calvert and Mark Moore will now continue to direct the business and the club will make no further comment at this time.
