But Briscoe is, simply put.

Mat it was a quote from Robinson confirming their interest in a high profile SL player. It could equally apply to either Anderson or Pryce. That was the point I was making, perhaps the Pryce deal is quite the 'done deal' yet.

| I realise what you mean but seeing as all SL Players (apart from catalans) ones are in uk, The need to mention uk SL to me implies a British player. Time will tell.

I disagree with you on several points but that one is just pure unadulterated nonsense and I can assure you 99.9% of people with any knowledge of the game would think the same.
I do realise you generally say this rubbish to get a rise though.

But 99% of the people dont have any knowledge of the game, the only think they do. A good example of this is somebody that thinks BK is a better FB than Shaun Briscoe.

| Briscoe might be better than Kearney defensively (not hard) but we need attackers and Kearney is much better than Briscoe on that front. As a side in the bottom three for clean breaks and tackle busts we need a plodder like Briscoe like a hole in the head.

| Shaun Briscoe would have struggled to get into an NRL team at FB in his prime, BK did not struggle. Briscoe is also in decline and has been for 2 years. Im happy to discuss credentials if you want also, especially of the fullback position, although it does depend what you are wanting your fb to do. Briscoe showed more defensively and probably more organisiation, in his PRIME, but there is much more than that to look at.

| The way some go on about Kearney on here youd think he was Billy Slater. The lad is a bog standard FB, with a mediocre ability to read play in front of him. Briscoe is a far more intelligent and dangerous player, attacking and defending.
But hey, youre all entitled to your opinions, no matter how clouded and misjudged they are.

| would be worth a months loan.
Although Kearney is a FB and his best position is at FB, it might benefit the team more if Briscoe goes to FB, Kearney at 6, Royston at 4, with either Jeffries or Herbert at 7.

I think some are confusing him with Tom. At his peak I thought Briscoe the worst defensive FB in SL. He has improved markedly under Morgan in that aspect, but his amirable efforts in attack have taken their toll.

2 or 3 years ago, perhaps.
But not now. He's clearly in decline, busted up by injuries and his pace has gone.
Frankly, if he was that decent then why would HKR be letting him go?

| Ladies and gentlemen, after careful and due consideration, I find I must confirm that the example put forward by the honourable member for God's County is totally and utterly irrefutable.
