What, even before the game started? Or in the first few minutes?

39110_1363272058.jpg Dropkick Murphy..we actually saw and heard a mass of bouncing and scarf and flag waving to Dale Cavese that drowned out anything we could muster.. It stopped us singing our own celebratory songs, it died out seconds later when we accepted we couldn't be heard over the Wigan lot
Celebrations muted from us, job done from them. Most fans who slag them off are jealous their own club's support is nowhere near that good

sally cinnamon..Why not discuss Wigan? It's a rugby league message board. Wigan are the most famous brand in rugby league
-
Tre Cool..Saints fans are hopeless unless it's a cup final or grand final. Wigan fans are so much more loyal and passionate

the flying biscuit..Wires havent been massively succesful over the years, but I've spoke to Brian Bevan And he spoke to me and i wouldnt swap that for Wigans History, ever

| Fantastic turn out from the Bulls fans with a decent turn out from ourselves!
Great effort and well done for not getting on the teams back, I just thought we didn't let them in the game. The moaning at the ref was a little bit much at times though.

Bulls fans are just sick of all the 50/50 calls going against us! Not always wrong, but we never seem to get the rub of the green.

Wrong.
Those that were on the bus into town from Odsal all said they will be back for the Wakefield game and yes these were the people who had paid £18 to get in.
That was some Wigan performance and I'm not too down by what I saw today.
It's very early days for this young Bardford side.

Thanks for letting us score a couple of tries!
The constant moaning at the ref and shouts of 'forward' was a little pathetic.

I will put my hands up and say we did get the 50/50's today but it got to the point where they were shouting for everything, however it was fantastic to see that great ground pretty full again!

Yeah, it was ridiculous with alot of the shouts of forward - although i did join in a couple of times when I genuinely thought they were forward.
I think as Bradford fans we'll just have to accept we don't get the 50/50s!

| Fantastic turnout today, I'm glad to see Bradford back and I hope you keep similar numbers for as long as possible.
As for the atmosphere - I don't think either team started confidently, and then once a few decisions had gone against your lot (I feel you could have done with a video ref today) and Wigan started taking control, your fans had very little to cheer about. You could have put a lot more pressure on us with some halves, as there was zero threat on every set until a kick was put in.
Good luck with the rest of the season, I hope we didn't rain on your parade too much

They only shouted when they were forward. Which was quite a lot to be fair...

We enjoyed taking the mick shouting forward for all of our passes though!
I do believe it will even out, you wouldn't have won that game today with us playing like that even if you got more calls but I am confident you will get some calls your way. Loved my visit to Odsal today despite the cold, it was great to see the ground full! Bradford are back as a club, just need to get things right on the field.

Your right with everything in that post. I don't think we're that far off on the field. With both first choice half-backs out we were always going to struggle against that top class defence.
And I agree, even if we'd have had the 50/50s the scoreline wouldn't have changed.
The only thing that really pi$$ed me off about Bentham is that (having already chalked off two) he was looking for a reason to disallow Ah Van's try, and reluctantly gave it when the touch judges said it was fine.

| Brilliant effort from both sets of fans today. I knew it was going to be a busy one and enjoyed the game, shame about the result.
Hopefully see more 15,000+ games this season when Leeds, Saints & Wire come to town.
Obviously we'll have to get some extra standing area sorted for when Hull KR bring their 13,000,000 away support over.

Although Bradford were made to look poor, part of this was certainly due the half backs, they didn't create enough and a St Helens or a Leeds would have caused us a few more problems.
Bentham did seem to look for a reason to chalk it off but I think that was down to the touch judge wanting to confirm the try.
Ah Van looks a good buy, he is fantastic in the air and I am sure he will be a hit with your fans.
I would love to see Bradford spin the ball out some more, they have some good players with ball in hand, especially in the forwards, with some entertaining rugby Odsal will see crowds like that every game.
