At the moment it doesn't bother me either way about the banner as I still have the old one displaying on my screen, is the new one supposed to be up??? So no change here.....maybe I'm just stuck in the past

i had to hit CTRL+F5 to get the new banner to show. my browser must have cached the old image.

i bet this new banner will be quicker to load on my mobile too, although not tried yet.

I assume that all the dissenters out there are all gonna enter their own super duper banner for the 2012 campaign?? Looking well forward that those. Should resemble the Louvre of here with all the budding Picassos we seem to have.

(Incidentally, I am complete crap at making these banner things and therefore I appreciate the ability of all those who entered. They all did a considerably better job than I ever could.)

im no picasso or david hockney myself but i can have an opinion on what they regard as artistic.remember the hockney telephone book, lots of local kids did there own versions and most were as good as the original and a lot were far better.

Ah! Sadly I did not get my copy of the Bradford and District phone book in Central Scotland. Probably why Mr W Bowling Bull went straight over my head.

I also see josefw's banner as very symbolic.

I see a strong and determined Bull, wading relentlessly onwards, from out of deep shi#t, leaving behind a crimson, bloody stain from the merciless cull.

And if you could but see the bottom half of the picture in the full size original, the bull has just taken a reciprocal dump on a certain absentee, hence the raised tail...

Nah, the symbolism in it is quite clear to me.

The Bull has just done the mother of all farts, to demonstrate precisely what he thinks of those who do not wish us well. He is clearly using his tail to dissipate the consequences.

You are correct regarding what he has just deposited on the Unspeakable One, though.

And his front hooves are nicely embedded in the Sack of Rat Droppings, in the most delicate specific places.

I preferred banner 4 but this was my second favorite.
