| It all seems to have gone quiet on here.
No one have any info at minute?
Seems leon is unlikely although with a fee for george makes it slightly different, still hoping for a half but the shout that we may have to wait till new year seems most likely at the minute.

| News out of Canberra this morning is the Raiders are waiting on Bradford, they are keeping card close to their chest, Raiders waiting to see if Bradford want any compensation, this could be sorted out this week.
Parramatta have pulled out of the race, i'd say its more like Mimis told them Orford isn't interested in playing for there rabble of a team.

Smoke and mirrors from canberra. Our position re compensation has been absolutely clear. If they want orford then they will have to pay.

Can you not email the club and inform them that Bradford do want compensation and nothing has changed since we granted him absence of leave and a fee of say £50,ooo would prob be enough for us to say we will cut our losses. But every week your club making out they are waiting on us just makes Canberra look very cheap and incapable of communicating with the players club - i.e. Mr Mimis the little toe rag is saying hold out hold out and you wont have to pay.
Personally I hope Orford has to take a year out as him and mimis the little grub are playing games and have no intention of honouring his contract.

| We're already talking about him as a former player anyway.
Quote Wigan born Ian joined Warrington Wolves and made his debut for the club in 1999. He was highly rated as an Academy player and after making 39 appearances for the Wire he joined Melbourne Storm, playing alongside former Bulls Half Back, Matt Orford.'"

| Well we ain't getting Joel Monaghan.
Warrington have just announced he's signed a 1 year deal with them.
Once again their fantastic accountant that can fit anything under the salary cap comes into play.
Edit: Scrap that. He's taken Chris Hicks' spot, who has decided to retire apparently.

| Hmmmm. I wonder how quickly Hicks had to come to that decision!

| i wonder how much he was paid to make that decision. i will love to so how they get under the cap, and cannot wait until they have to renegotiate the younger players contracts who have kicked on. Even bridge will be expecting a salary hike, although it does make you consider whether miler will still be there for them to be under the cap

| Well Wolves now have the best team on paper by some way IMO, they should be a real force next year.

| Their squad still lacks the mental toughness to win the play-offs IMO, as proved in last year's competition.
Saints and Wigan are stronger IMO.

IMO they had the best team on paper last year too. Thankfully the game is played on grass (and occasionally snow or sand).
