| It’s no surprise Swinton scored their tries down Connor Wynnes side. He’s a fair FB but looked exposed on the wing. I would prefer he get dropped for Tindall rather than DFJ

Barring any further injuries I don't think we will see him again this season.

| Looking like, maybe Vella will be referee tomorrow. Aaron Moore was touch judge for the Leigh v Huddersfield game which is now to be completed tomorrow. If the same officials are in charge, which is logical, he won't be able to referee our game as per the ref appointments. Mick Gledhill is suggesting it's Vella to replace him and he's not officiating anywhere else. Mind you, neither is Worsley!!!!!!

Confirmed tonight, it's Vella!

| Competed, but far too many individual errors, brainfarts and 1 on 1 missed tackles.
Dropping the ball on the first tackle then not numbering up correctly on the scrum was a killer.
Losing Rogers early on was a massive blow in that heat.
Need to do something about goal kicking. Can't keep carrying on with Lilley lottery.

| Interesting. Lot of errors from both teams, some forced, some not. Generally both teams were evenly matched I think. We missed the yardage kick returns from Blackmore. If the aim is still a top 4 finish then we need to cut out those errors. Disappointed that 5 Fev “fans” tried to create trouble and had to be ejected.

| Gritty game that we couldn't seem to close out. I felt we were the superior team in the second half but our execution near the Fev line was poor and we put the ball on the floor a number of times in good field position. If the Arundel try is given I feel that we kick on and win that game. If the conversions are taken by Lilley the score is 12-16 with us mounting a charge to win the game. A game of missed opportunities for the Bulls.
The main takeaway is that we competed with the leaders of the league with a prop down for 3/4 of the game. We've beaten Toulouse and beaten our other playoff contenders. Hopefully we can get back to winning ways next week against York and continue to cement our playoff credentials.

| Couldn't make this one, but sounds like they gave it a decent effort. Tough few weeks ahead, really need to get a result versus York.
Trip away to London and Sheffield after that. But it's good prep for a play off spot, as we are I presume going to have to face Fev or Toulouse away to reach that play off final which will be a tough ask.

| Positives for me. We went toe to toe with the best side in the division and on another day may have nicked a result. Think we need a full strength side to do that realistically but I thought pretty much everyone gave 100%. Scurr in particularly in the forwards looked good.
Where we fell down a bit was our last tackle options. In the first half we handed the ball over on the 5th far too many times. It was as if John Kear had given us the gameplan but from Greenwood's after match comments I think it was the players losing track of the tackle count and not being composed. Thought we dropped the ball too much in the second half when we had a long period where we had the upper hand. If you don't take your opportunities you can expect to be punished. The Arundal no-try was a difficult one to see properly. They should've had another but Holmes put in a try saver. Fev made plenty of yards up the field but seemed to lack ideas near the line.
For us apart from Scurr I thought DFJ had a good game and wasn't exposed on the wing, Lilley tried hard and Lawrence put in is his usual faultless performance. England played well apart from one arm grab tackle that nearly let Fev in for a try. Was a bit concerned by Appo's performance as he seemed to be running the ball in at 50% and looked off the pace. Maybe not fit.
The less said about the trouble in the crowd the better but let's just say it's not a surprise is it?

| Don't normally comment on the off-field trouble but enough is enough now.
Quite frankly the RFL are complicit in this with their pathetic punishments of "suspended fines"
Everyone in the championship is aware and fed up of a certain section of Fev fans being thugs. Even fax and bulls fans are united on it!!
They're already being investigated for abuse of Jesse Sene-Lefaos children at Sheffield. And now this.
It's not all Fev fans, Phantom on here is great to have RL debates on. But Fev and the RFL need to find a way of outing these scumbags from our sport.

| I though we were the better team for long periods.
Again though, the opposition team were constantly talking to the ref and so I got the feeling it was reffed to their expectations that we had to adjust to that.
Not saying the ref was poor but they constantly, shall we say, sought guidance and as such the ruck was policed to their requirements. The constant holding down, flops and general pratting about at the PTB was a little irritating.
All in all I went away happy as during most of the second half I felt sure we'd nick it and my expectations were that we'd have capitulated on 60 mins and gone down by 30.
The score certainly flattered them.

| I agree about Appo. Too often took the ball from a standing start where he should be taking the pass at speed.
Lawrence and Liley were best 2 players for us closely followed by Scurr.
Tef was poor on the holding down and he was too long to go round the tackle to see the Arundel try. I was pretty close and it looked like he grounded the ball and by the time the ref got there had been turned over.
Can touch judges give a forward pass or is it just down to the ref because the one on the standing terrace missed loads.
