From Caisley onwards they should be horse whipped imo for what they did at the BULLS.
Ferres, the Burgess boys,Whitehead,Bateman, they could all still be wearing the BULLS shirt if those clowns hadn't have ruined the club.
Fooooking disgrace imo.'"
Going by Wakefield's board, they had about 8 players still under contract after the MPG, it's no surprise that they're bringing in a large number of signings because without them, they'd not have enough players to put out a team. They're still odds on for the wooden spoon because the other teams above them last year were already stronger sides and will be even more so come next year. There's also the question of how much squad depth will they have because, although they're opperating under SL rules, there's no way in hell they've got enough money coming in to pay for the full salary cap

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| Under the terms of the new contract the annual payment to Super League clubs will rise to £1,825,000 per club, which will just about cover the salary cap.

Wakefield will be spending significantly more this year than last. Also probably more wisely with BS as coach. Michael Carter is a good businessman and has steadied Wakefield. They won't overspend by any means, but I doubt they will be too far of the SC. Either way they will be spending a lot more than us

Hopefully quality signings. I keep saying it, but if we can just get a top drawer 7 and big aggressive prop, we'll certainly challenge. We've some decent young players. We were let down by certain individuals and the coaches rotational policy.
if we just bring in players who don't really add to te squad I.E Crossley, Mendieka etc than we can forget even challenging for MPG.

| I agree we need quality but I have it on good authority that we struggle to attract quality because 1. We're not in SL and 2. We don't have the cash to pay over the odds to attract players that may get a start with our competitors at SL clubs.
Leigh have more money than us and are able to attract certain "names". Those players will either be brilliant or a disaster for them.

Then we have to come back to the huge question about the amount of money wasted on upwards of 10 players who as well as having barely played last year, are contracted for next.
You cannot seriously sign wingers and fullbacks by the mionibus and then ask people to pay £280 to watch a team with a scrum half that isn't Championship standard let alone SL standard.
What you've been told ought to form the basis of a resignation letter.

True. But I hope the players we bring in are better than what we have already and add to the squad. We've a big squad so don't need to add to depth/backup players. For example Johnny Campbell doesn't really add to the squad as our back line is pretty good with plenty of depth. So would be a pointless signing for me. We need Players that would improve our starting 17, not add to our squad of 30

| I agree with you both. I don't see wing/fullback as a priority unless we're letting a few go.

Well, I'd imagine that both Uaisele and Ulugia will be on their way. Neither has really shown a great deal in their limited appearances

| Uaisele has put on twitter that he is still with Bradford for this season. So unless someone comes in for him, or we send him out on loan for the season, he's still on our salary cap.

| I wonder if Mullaney is being lined up for half back and a replacement full back is what we need.
We clearly don't have the money to sign existing top quality so we have to sign 2promising" lads who might make it. the club won't say that publicly but that may be how it is.
We need some of those players that most of us have written off to make a big step up and prove us wrong.
I still believe a few of those players are better than they showed this season. It all comes down to coaching - look at Cas and the likes of Fax. A good coach improves them. It is up to Jimmy to to that.
No mention of assistant coach. My money is on Walker to help out.
I think Jimmy has till Easter to show a big improvement or we start sounding out a replacement. I would start looking in the WF post code area for coaches who are only on a one year contract and may like the idea of building the Bulls back up again. Now that would help sell STs.

| Mitch Clarke - good signing for you.
Will bend a defence and put his hand up to do the tough stuff. Will benefit greatly from full time environment and expect him to shine.

They brought the 50% of income limit back in though didn't they? So they would need twice that amount of money coming in to spend the full cap. Would be interesting to know what the real difference in spending money is between us and them.
