Do they bid on condition of a CVA being agreed (not likely if it is down to HMCR)

Or do they wait for liquidation and buy with no debts.....who knows.....

whatever scenario you can bet that BG gets paid in full before any other creditors....

If we go into liquidation there is nothing to buy as there is no club.

It would mean starting a new club from scratch. We'd need to sort out a whole new squad, staff, arrangements for training, ground to play matches at, contracts with suppliers etc etc.

Not something that could be done in the space of a few weeks.

Liquidation is a total disaster.

The cynic in me says they're waiting until Guilfoyle has rid the club of as much salary/employee liability as he possibly can. Duffy, Duckett and Medley have all done long stints on salaries we can only guess at with the figure of 600k a year reportedly being saved by the redundancies. If you didn't want to go forward with these guys the cost of getting shut would be enormous. It's probably as significant as the HMRC liabilities.

Where does BG get his figures from: The salary cap is £1.65M (£137,500 per month) and he rekons the reduced wage bill, now he has made your coaching staff redundant, is £200 000 a month this is £2.4M. There are some serious questions to be answered.

Why? Do you think the bar staff,stewards( of which there are more at odsal due to size than most other clubs)admin, groundstaff and shop staff all work for free? 60k a month to cover that lot doesn't seem too ridiculous
