I think the stitches in his girlfriends face make me less inclined to give him benfit of the doubt.


From a playing point of view he is a good player who certainly will improve your team and is a good signing.


I am glad however we did not sign him because i have no time for people like him.

I would expect that you are unlikely to see him for a good few weeks as even in straightforward cases it take as while to get a visa. By then he will be due to go back to OZ.

I cannot help feeling that it is a bit of a PR stunt because after the Carney debacle and the problems Hull are having with Crocker this has to be one of the riskiest signings this season. there has to be some planning around the fact he will not ever even get here.

Also on the T&A it states his girlfriend is actually standing by him and he maintains he is innocent.. think theres a lot to this story that is a bit weird when your gf is standing by you.

His wife has not pressed any charges so he is free to play & sign for us.

Very common in situations of Domestic Violence unfortunately.

But who knows if it is a domestic violence case? Papers say a lot of things, some of true, some of it utter rubbish. Until he is found guilty then nobody can say that and she has publically stated that she is not happy with how the case has been handled so i think that innocent until proven guilty should be observed. If he is guilty then i think signing him could be dodgy but if he is actually innocent then his character has been tainted for no reason.

very mixed feelings about this one. if it's like beechwood says and was accidental then I'd have no prob with signing but it was intentional then I'd have a problem with this signing. Also not sure if its worth risk for a one year deal - 3year deal would be better to give some continuity.
