| He's played some reserves. Wonder if he'll get a few games on loan in L1 before he comes back fully.
The loans thing is frustrating. We don't seem to have any continuity on the wing. The Aussie we've got from Hull just seems to be them "cleaning the stables" as he's certainly not up to SL level. Not sure what we're set to gain by taking someone who'll be off home as soon as he gets the chance. On the other hand Tindall coming in is a good move and I'd love us to make that a permanent signing.
One thing that has frustrated me this season is our kicking game. Other than the kicks we put in for Gill to chase we don't build any pressure at all. Not sure what we can do to fix this other than hope that Gaskell comes back early but longer term it's an issue that needs sorting.

| I wouldn't go as far as saying this is a must win, but it is a good chance to tighten that top 6 back up.
If we're serious about being the best of the rest, a game at home like this we should be looking to win.
Hopefully some game management lessons also learnt from Widnes!

| Sheffield have been far more consistent and strung together some decent form during the opening stages of the season. Their only losses have come against Wakefield (36-10) and Wigan in the Cup. After Wakefield, I see the Eagles as one of the top 2 sides in the division.
They've been going very well and it will take a well drilled Bulls outfit to try and stop the Eagles momentum. As others have said, game management will be key during Sunday's game. Mark Aston will have them up for this one after the late heartbreak they suffered in the final game of the season last year.
It has all the makings of being a good game!

| Despite all the injuries and still only been able to name 19 players (two of which I doubt will play as they player for the reserves on Thursday and haven't made their debut yet) we should still be able to name a strong 17.

| Cracking win in the sun. I didn't expect this but a great response from last week, and with Widnes only drawing too, brings us a little closer.

| Played all of the Top 6 now and lost to Widnes and Wakefield(which everyone will likely lose too)
The only real negative is the York performance.

| What a win! We made the Eagles look very average with our patched up team.
Massive stints from Doro, Lawrence, Fulton, Lilley and Souter. I also felt Okunbar went very well. I hope we can keep hold of him for the a few more games.
Always good to get one over Aston and that whinging bugger Thackery.

| Tremendous unexpected victory today, a much changed side against the second best team in the comp, Okunbur. sounded a handful and our pack got on top of theirs today.
Hopefully we made the frown on Astons face worse, always critical of Odsal when they play here, you would think the Eagles played at the Bernabeu.

| Really impressed that we bounced back from the Wakey game with that performance. Had to work really hard in spells as Sheffield came out the blocks firing.
Okunbor looked impressive, would be happy to hold onto him longer if he players with that effort and aggression. With Blackmore and Tafua missing we needed his yardage to get us out of our own half.
Fulton was immense again, what a signing he has been, however wearing a protective boot at the end was worrying - just hope he isn't out for long.
Really pleasing two points and a good afternoon of entertainment.

| Fulton picking up an injury is a big blow as he's been one of our stand out players this year. EOC stating that he has a calf issue.
Gaskell should be returning next week.

| Great effort today from 1-17 I thought we showed a real toughness in defence and really didn't take any crap off them. I don't know how Davies was still on his feet at the end, what a player.

| Great performance. Our sliding defence seems to be working at last, apart from their 1st try. How that referee passed his refs exams I have no idea.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| My only concern was the crowd. Was it 2300? Something like that? Was a good quality game, and was anticipated as being good quality. Also good weather.

| Was unable to go to the game as my son had a late kick off over at Lock Lane on Sunday, but sounded to be a good performance despite the lack of fit bodies. Also good to get another one through the academy product line too.
This part of the season is always interesting as players line up their next moves and we historically have always had issues with (dare I say...) "commitment" levels from those rumoured to be moving on. Glad to see its not kicked in fully to date, but there are a few whispers swirling about players moving on next year, so time will tell if they turn up .
Would be great if we could get a few of the loan signings on permanent deals as they certainly look to add quality. I know FC fans have slated Okunbor but he looks a unit in the back line and sounds to have had a decent game. Tindall has always looked good when playing on loan and I think he just needs a settled run in a side to show his best form.
