| They seem to play a different style of rugby to what i have heard that we play ( not been to a game this season due to Op's)
1 thing i would like to take away from tonight is the never die and never give up attitude catalans showed tonight a bloody good effort and came away with the points!

| Would be great and gutting, all at the same time, to see Beaver lift a pot this year.

| I was at the Salford vs Hull FC game last night which was equally as enthralling.
When they visit Odsal on the 25th March mark my words they'll be no easy beats.

That Angela Powers might know a thing or two after all.

This is what I was alluding to on another thread when you get people taking the attitude that we can afford to write off games against the top teams, so long as we focus on beating the so-called 'lesser teams'.
I don't think that there are going to be any easy games, with the possible exception of Widnes - and even they will provide the odd shock. Remember where Crusaders won their first game in SL? Exactly....
Salford appear to have the makings of a good side. They ended up getting blown away by St Helens, but they were very competitive for the best part of an hour. They are not going to be any sort of guaranteed two points at all. London have too many good players to not come good at some point, Wakefield look well organised, Castleford will certainly not let teams walk all over them, and so on....

| Utterly devastated at Stains losing in the last minute.
Of course, I know they'll be being very philosophical about it as I can remember leaving Knowsley Rd some years ago, being told how great this kind of thing was for RL.

Most of such comments are in reaction to the usual lemmings jumping off a cliff because we lose to Cats (and now we know they are as good as some suspected) and Wigan, rather than fundamental beliefs as to what people want the team to do. I usually express it this way, that we have to beat the teams around us, I dont call any team weak as on their day anybody can beat anybody. And looking at Wakefields stats so far this season I am expecting a very tough game for us. But beating Cas away shows that we can do it. If Jeffries steps up to the mark, if the forwards win a bit of possesion if our centres do a bit of tackling, if we keep it simple and error free. not much!!! and saying that the team should aim to win half the games isnt dissing any team either, but the probability is that can only be done by mostly winning against bottom half teams and nicking points wherever possible against top half teams.

| If I was Potter i'd make the team watdh that video. For Catalans to come back from 26 -8 down shows charcter. Something sadly lacking at our club. We would have thrown in the towel at that point and it would have been a mauling.
The interception try was a game killer, so to come back from that was an even bigger achievement. Well done Catalans.
