| Yeah the game wasn't as exciting as the score line suggested! But another 2 points!
Why did we give Karl Pryce so much room?

| Well, what a strange game. Harlequins for most of the game seemed strangely disjointed and not too cracking, to be honest, and the fact is we won at a canter, despite the score.
The score was as close as it was due to a bewildering array of dropped passes. In the first half (where we were Nil until about 5 mins to go) I find it hard to remember us completing a set. It was only due to this disrespect of possession (the second half wasn't a great deal better in this respect) that the game was kept close.
Karl Pryce scored two unlikely tries, the first sidestepping (well, as near as he can get to that) his way under the posts from 10 metres without anyone touching him,, That was just shocking defending; and then selling a dummy to a shot defence right at the death. Despite 2 tries he still looks a pretty useless lummox to me, and the tries apart from being in the right place were not up to much.
Burgess's cameo appearance was very good, and he didn't look at all out of place. His first carry made a good 5 yards with 3 men on his back, and he looks ready for more appearances.
Plenty of positives, and none more so than the excellent 12K+ attendance. For Harlequins. Great stuff, and a valuable 2 points.

| Not the best game, but we were guilty of losing alot of tight games last year, so its a valuable win.

| Not the most exciting of games but we did enough to chalk up another two points. We probably lack a matchwinner to come up with something special, especially with L'Estrange missing through injury. Just hope we have a couple more names back for the trip to Hull.
I though Tom Burgess stood up well and didn't look out of place in the 1st team. Hopefully he'll get some more gametime off the bench in Scrutes absence.

| Burgess was ok
Only got a short time, this needs to be increased each game so we dont just have to rely on 3 props against rhino's and a kiddo or we could get mauled. I can see Ryan Bailey heading straight for Tom too. I would personally like to see Langley as 4th prop instead of burgess when it comes to the big games.

| 'A win's a win' as the saying goes
Strange sort of game that was made to look closer than it was due to two late tries from Karl 'Don't tackle me or I'll limp around for five minutes' Pryce.
Took us a while to get going, and we coughed up far too much ball. When we got a roll on, 10 minutes either side of half time especially, we looked pretty decent. And you'd have to say that Burgess coming off the bench (ably supported by Addy and Whitehead) gave us some oooomph.
Good to have Donaldson back - and although he didn't catch the eye especially, he didn't do much wrong.
And what the heck has happened to Kyle Briggs - third week running in the 19, but not so much as a spot on the bench
And crowd of well over 12,000 when it was raining before kick off was excellent, bearing in mind there were like 20 Quins fans behind the posts. It seems like 12,000 is going to be our 'default' attendance - more when there's an away following and for big matches.

| Poor game, and a poor performance. We are so desperately in need of some creativity in the halves and soon. Kearney can't do everything on his own. And we missed Heath too to add that extra spark when he comes on. The first thirty minutes was beyond dire. Thought Burgess lifted the team when he came on and seemed to go ok.
Karl Pryce looked good to me, either that or we couldn't be d to tackle him. Reading about him in the program, maybe he finally got his head in the right place and is going to show his potential. Maybe.

| Well we won. Another five mins and I think we could have blown it. To give some credit we lost L'Estrange late on as well as Platt and Scruton this week, two of our most in form players. Burgess looked powerful and fit in well, Kopczack had another great game, always making extra metres. The first half was like pulling teeth but we finally managed to pass instead of five drives and a kick. Can we not let someone else kick for touch instead of Herbert? Surely Addy or Sykes could make more ground?
