But the conundrum is that it is pretty well documented on here that we have a crap team, particularly in the backs.
I think I may be missing some very important point here, but if the team is crap, how on earth would changing the coach suddenly turn them into world beaters?
You could put Alex ferguson in charge of Farsley Celtic but 999 times out of 1000 they'd still lose against Real Madrid.
Bradford don't have the money to pay the same money as the likes of Warrington (regardless of salary cap).
I'd be much more worried if we had the squad that Wire have and we were where they are. We haven't, we have a mediocre team that can expect a mid table finish and possibly top 6 if we over achieve.
That, I'm afraid is Bradford (Northern or Bulls) and has been pretty much the same for the majority of the past 43 years I've been watching them.
Expectations have risen in recent years with the success that has been seen. That era seems to have drawn to a close and with the resources available and the spending power to hand, major success is going to be in short supply in the near to mid term future.
People will have to lower their expectations, I have. Recent trophies have been great and they can't be taken away, but it looks to me like it's back to the future.
C'est la vie!
