I'm hoping that you put in some steps this year to build a quality academy. You have the facilities there for it and have two amateur teams in Leigh Miners and Leigh East who are very near! I remember being at the Cougars on scholarship in around 2013 and we played a Centurions side over at Leigh East. What's happened to this structure?

As you say I hope you get SL security so you can tap into this talent. If anyone takes any lessons from us it's definatley out academy system! Thank you! I hope we pull through too! Might mean we have to rely on academy players like Lumb, Ryan, Oakes and Kirk but at least it means more Bradford products playing the game!

I'll just put this out there but is there anyone else feeling incredibly bleak still? I have the overwhelming sense that nothing good is going to come and in fact we are enduring something akin to torture on route to admin 4 or sustained lingering death.

What's the general mood? Has anyone found this has all got them genuinely down? Or us it apathy, anger or a blend?

Must admit I aren't really thinking much, my only hope is that the RFL have approved a bid when the club was in administration so if the same person has put a bid in I would hope it would be accepted.

Embarrassed, resigned, concerned, interested but also at times apathetic.

I would have thought that the 4 offers were by people that had shown an interest earlier and had been investigated by the powers that be to a greater or lesser extent. Naively I thought that the RFL had a front runner and that the winner would have been announced fairly shortly after the deadline. I am beginning to suspect that maybe none of the offers are up to much and the RFL are not sure what to do next.

I'm frustrated that there appears to be 2 parallel actions to get an owner for the club.

On 1 hand we have the administrator who is still trying to sell the club to "Buyer A". He's (apparently) already sold "Buyer A" logo, naming rights, web site and stock.

On the other hand there is the RFL who may well be ignoring the administrator and "Buyer A" as they want to secure the very best deal for the club moving forward. They are hoping and preying that "Buyer B, C and D" (Assuming "Buyer A" has also made a bid to the RFL) hold a more secure footing for the club moving forward.

I'm nervous that the RFL may well give the gig to either "Buyer B, C or D" and then "Buyer A" takes a huff and refuses to sell back the logo, naming rights etc.

Only way i can see a quick way out of this mess is if the RFL actually appoint "Buyer A" as the owner of the new club, here's hoping that said buyer has a lot of cash...

I'd say I'm mostly curious right now. There are people out there who at the very least want to have a go at saving pro RL in Bradford. Without knowing exactly who those people are and what their business plans involve, it's hard to feel anything else really.
If it transpires that some of these guys actually have experience in running a rugby club, then I might start to feel a bit more optimistic. But only a bit.

As long as the stadium situation remains as it is, we'll constantly be on the precipice of disaster in my opinion. So the anxiety over the club's long term future will always be there with me until we sort something out with the council.

Generally just completely drained by it all. Got no more anger left, just want to see a resolution.
