No one would argue that they need to strengthen, but that is not the issue. It's whether they are sustainable on crowds of 4-5k.

There is that but there's also the point of whether the comp is sustainable with numbers of teams whose average gate is that area.
Is there a realistic chance that with the resources they have and are likely to have that they will strengthen sufficiently to be competetive within 2-3 years? Would the pressure send those clubs backwards instead of forwards?
There's lots of posters saying our inclusion is a fait accompli when a rational view might be that there isn't another option.

Wakefield, for example, came out of administration whereas Rangers and, it seems, Bradford did not. They collapsed, failed completely and have started from scratch - in Rangers case from the bottom. It looks like Bradford will avoid that fate - and good luck to you, I know that you, like me, just want to support your team and enjoy the sport of RL.
The additional difficulty that arises is from the licensing system, which is all about minimum standards and a pretty clear implication that failure to meet them will lead to penalties and opportunities for others. If a newco Bulls are granted a licence, then the standards are so low, or at least so easy to step around that they're meaningless. I suspect this won't be a problem for the Bulls, but it is a major problem for the credibility of licensing.

I'd probably agree at this moment. It depends whether you view the strength of the competition as a whole as the priority or some petty small town, envious, vindictive, shallow mentality as the priority.

No, it's saying the comp as a whole is bigger and better with the Bulls in it. Whereas the liklihood is without a significant investor in those clubs, the SL would be lesser and smaller if the Bulls were replaced.
The worst case scenario is that the clubs are not competetive and gates fall. There are precedents for this. The very best possible outcome is that they get 5-6k and compete in the bottom 6 indefinitely.

Luck is a combination of preparation and opportunity
Just to avoid confusion Starbug is the username of Steven Pike
SOMEBODY SAID that it couldn’t be done
But he with a chuckle replied
That “maybe it couldn’t,” but he would be one
Who wouldn’t say so till he’d tried.
So he buckled right in with the trace of a grin
On his face. If he worried he hid it.
He started to sing as he tackled the thing
That couldn’t be done, and he did it!:9005.jpg |

| A ' mini licencing process ' is quite simply a total and complete waste of time , the ' New ' Bulls will use the ' Old ' Bulls attendances and stature within the game as the reason to remain , any projected business plan by any Championship club will be viewed as ' Speculative '
A total farce , the Championship clubs should collectively decline to participate

No, it's not the same. the Bulls have 10000 fans Fev, Leigh and Fax have circa 2000. The Bulls have around 15-20 contracted Super League players, Fev, Leigh and Fax don't have any.
