Not a fan of Bradford Boars, would get pretty sick of reading Bradford BORES all the time.

Daft question but in terms of records would it be a clean slate?

For example, would Deacon not be our highest points scorer, or Les the top try scorer? Would the 24,000 crowd be our record crowd or does this all go down the drain?

Whatever the new club, Any chance of us putting together a new song/chant which is unique to our team (for a while anyway). Makes me laugh at magic weekend when every clubs fans are all singing slight variations of the same song.

Got to admit Bradford Phoenix would be quite apt.

It's not been a clean slate before so why now? Previous records included things from before 1963. If it's good enough for RL historian Professor Tony Collins it's good enough for me.

I just wasn't sure that's all so I thought I had better ask. Deacon's haul of 2,000 plus points won't be broke for a long time!

Bradford FC, for me, if we really feel it necessary to change. That is the original name, and as pointed out above, it overturns the 'great betrayal' of 1907......and we'll be able to sing FC Rejects, FC Rejects.....

(Someone will be along to tell me a club is something other than the fans and their affections any moment now)'"

Yes, I originally struggled with what it might mean if the club I have followed disappeared and then reappeared in some form, but this is it, and this Sunday [imight[/i be a great demonstration of it. If the RFL sanction the game I'll be turning up at Batley to support a squad of players and a coach representing Bradford against Batley playing under no name with no official history of anything (and no future at the moment but that's another matter) - but it'll be the same fans in the away end as the last game last season, and probably a fair number who also witnessed our relegation, last cup final win, last Grand final and playing as Northern, so, hopefully, it'll "feel" like my club and so will be my club.

The name has to be Bulls I reckon, but if it couldn't be (one of the bidders currently owns it and might not want to play ball with the winner if he's the RFL lottery loser) then Id go with Bradford FC whilst keeping Bullman and Bull boy as mascots.

Could you keep Bullman and Bullboy. Would they be trademarked under the Bulls brand? And therefore could they be used if Thorne own's the rights and he doesn't get the club?

ONE of the four bids the Rugby Football League are considering to take on a new club in Bradford has based its application on replicating the supporters’ trust model central to German football.

After a dozen initial requests for further information, the governing body announced they received a quartet of submitted bids by yesterday’s noon deadline.
Their executive will now assess them all before making their recommendation to the RFL independent board as to who they believe should start a new professional rugby league club in the city following last week’s liquidation of Bradford Bulls.
Lucid Sporting Management incorporating a proposed chief executive of Damian Irvine – the former Cronulla Sharks chairman and Wycombe Wanderers’ head of commercial activities – plus joint-chairmen Richard Lamb and Andy Agar, are hoping to earn that chance.
Lamb, who is also Rotherham Titans’ chief executive, told The Yorkshire Post: “Ours is slightly different to the traditional model.

“Effectively, we’re saying the three of us – myself, Damian Irvine and Andy Agar – would run the company, but we’d set it up essentially as a fans’ trust like the Bundesliga model of ‘50 + 1’.
“The key element is we’ll run it as a commercial entity with 52 per cent as the fans’ trust and 48 per cent as LSM.
“We wouldn’t rely on the supporters, but with the help of them we feel it is something that, together, will secure the long term of the club.”
