The article reads as though it was Orford's decision not to sign, which must mean an agreement over compo had been reached with the Eels.

Interesting, i would expect that if compo was agreed, a player would not sit out a year of his career.

I would suspect that the only stumbling block would have been the release from Bradford. We're really digging our heels in!!!

IMO, I't not really his decision! just he has no option!!

That's hardly us letting him rot. That's him getting out of his contract with us scott free.

The fact that he won't get paid for the duration of his bulls contract is hardly getting away scott free.

Remember he will have no playing income during this time.... (2 years i think?)
