I can see the point in starting with a new name. I dont understand the logic about dropping Bulls and reverting back to Northern. It seems like trying to disassociate ourselves from the past 20 years, including the most successful period in our history.

i'm not too fussed about the branding of the club, I'm a Bradford RL fan. Bulls/Northern/a.n. other doesn't hold the sentiment for me.

Originally my thinking was all about the actual name value. Now my thinking is strictly a financial one.

It'll be a lot cheaper to keep the Bulls name. Having a new name means re-branding a lot of things around the stadium, as well as all associated merchandise. It also means getting the name out to those who only has a passing interest to tell them who the club is, whereas they already know who the Bulls are. Try explaining to youngish kids that going to watch Bradford Northern is exactly the same as going to watch Bullman and Bullboy and see what their reaction is.

With the amount of other things that are going to cost money in the forseeable future, I don't see the point of adding something else to that list unless you absolutely have to.

Ironically I was somewhat miffed at the name change from Northern to Bulls at the start of the super league era, however having since got a Bulls tattoo I would much prefer to keep the Bulls branding. What will be will be.

Not a fan of Bradford Boars, would get pretty sick of reading Bradford BORES all the time.

Daft question but in terms of records would it be a clean slate?

For example, would Deacon not be our highest points scorer, or Les the top try scorer? Would the 24,000 crowd be our record crowd or does this all go down the drain?

Whatever the new club, Any chance of us putting together a new song/chant which is unique to our team (for a while anyway). Makes me laugh at magic weekend when every clubs fans are all singing slight variations of the same song.
