Job done. Can't really complain about winning by 20+ in Barrow as its never an easy place to go and they're fighting for their lives.

But I do think a bit of a mentality change is needed for next season. From being 32-6 up, thsn letting in another 16 points in the second half is disappointing. We need that killerinstinct to keep them down and us to kick on and rack up a big score. It sounded like we had a strong wind to contend with in the second half, but our poor points difference tells a story. It's an area for improvement next year IMO

But I'd have taken that at the beginning of the game. Let's have a strong finish to the season now lads.

as Mick G keeps on saying, we've had 13 games where we have won or lost with a less than six points diff ... we are still knocking on the top 5 door but those games do define a season, put them right we are contenders

Still don't understand the strategy of starting with one average prop only (Crossley) and what does Kear say at half time, given 2nd half of last 2 games better if it was nothing!! Very poor second half defensive efforts.

How many teams have a big lead at halftime and a poor 2nd half you see it every week leigh did it today it's hard to keep it going and the losing team have nothing to lose so they raise their game

It was a better result than I expected, I honestly thought Barrow might turn us over yesterday. No shock results elsewhere though so 6th spot still looks to be the realistic highest finish possible. I've read that the sliding scale for funding is approx 15k per position so I guess the club will be very keen to ensure its in our pockets rather than Sheffield.

As Kear said, if we accept that then we'll have to accept being a mid championship team. If we want to be a top championship team, we have to start being more ruthless.

For me it's an attitude. I'd love to see the stats for tries we've conceded in the first 5 mins of the 1st half or second half this year. It's like we're coming out not fully focused. We should have come out with an attitude they're not going to score a try that second half. 1st set they have, they score. Same again last week. Week before we come out against Swinton, we're 4 tries down before we've passed a ball in anger. Its sloppy IMO no good patting each other on the back at scoring a hat-trick when you've made 3 howlers to conceded 3 tries.
