Nice to know we have one! Any chance the fans can hear anything about this vision? Might be better off asking Dennis Betts, more likely to get a response

| No. I must be positive...we're not becoming lapdogs to SL's perennial strugglers, it's an offer of help from Widnes...that's all it is....short term help.....nothing more....we've not given up....

| Maybe we'll see the rotund Eamon O'Barrell in a Bulls shirt. We're all calling for size in the pack. He certainly has that!

| To be fair, Aaron Heremaia wouldn't be a bad shout to replace Scott Moore, but I don't know if he gets a game there or not. Greg Burke could be an option in the front row.
Anything that improves us on the field I suppose has to be a positive thing. Only time will tell if that's going to be the case.

| Needs must. I hate DR. It makes a mockery of the championship.(i've seen Michael Sio, David Fifita, and Brett Delaney playing in DR - which according to the RFL helps benefits young players)
Can't blame the owners. Comes in and sees Fev have 5 Leeds players in their squad this weekend, at probably no cost to them) so from a business point of view i can see why it appeals. Get upto 4 DR SL players in your squad every week and not pay a penny.
I think it will stay next year as well as if we survive this year, we're again going to get pittance central funding. A few years of hurt and frustration will happen before we get back on our feet. Its what 3 admins and liquidation does im afraid.

| Danny Walker, Owen Farnworth, Chapelhow twins and Brad Walker are decent youngsters. You can have Greg Burke and Chris Bridge. Danny Craven another option.

Really like the look of Danny Walker.
Everyone suggesting Greg Burke and Aaron Heremaia really don't get how dual registration works - we'll get fringe players and youngsters, not guys in the Widnes starting 17!

Yeah I have only seen a bit of Danny Walker and I like him too. Heremai and White are injured most of this season and still another month away. You can have Olbison back I really don't rate him.

A similar line was trotted out previously when we linked up with a club. I can't recall whether it was our dual reg with Hunslet or our close ties with Leeds. But I'd love to hear this vision that they seem happy to share with other clubs but not their own flippin supporters. I am rapidly getting to the point where I say.. I'm out. I have plenty of other things to occupy my time and money.

I'd seen them a couple of times and noticed Heremaia didn't play. Didn't realise he was injured, although that makes sense I suppose as he's a very good player.
I do realise how dual reg works. Some clubs use it to play anyone that's not getting a game (Leeds, Wakefield), not just youngsters, although it was supposedly put in place for the younger players.

2019 is the cut off for me. Its about ticking boxes off each year to get to a stage where we can challenege for SL again. Aim is to survive this year and lets say we do, we'll be receiving £150k-£200k funding again. To fund a full time squad, an academy (which is more important to me than DR as much as i hate it) the owner Will be looking at putting at least a million into the club out of is own pocket.
Next year we will start on zero and can make a push for the top 4 but with limited funds, we will have to find other ways of putting together a competitive squad.
