Having been done over for this game I think every club in the championship should increase their prices when the Bulls come.
I have also had to pay £5 for my granddaughter to sit with us. She has a junior season ticket which gets her to every away game, free of charge, but not if they want to sit at Odsal. Bradford junior season ticket holders will be able to go to EVERY away game free of charge.
To charge £27 for an on the gate price, to sit, only serves to put off the casual support.

You're right, all the best turns in entertainment cost a premium, but I'm not sure it would go down well with all their own fans.

So stand with her! You save your fiver and your own stand admission. She CAN get in free of charge. It isn't compulsory to go in the stand, that's your choice.

Really? And how do you know that then? Come on, tell us, seeing as you presumably have the "magic number" which does NOT "serve to put off the casual support", yet keeps the club in the black? What is it? £25? £22.47? How did you work out the "casual put-off" level?
It would be interesting to know what size sample of "casual support" you researched and analysed as then we could say "Well, spanishbob has crunched the numbers, and if we charge £24.82, it will put off 279 casual supporters, but if we reduce it by a penny to £24.81, they will not be put off and will all pay." Just by announcing your groundbreaking conclusion you could instantly fill all rugby grounds. You owe it to the world.

Ok, here we go.
1. The price increase is a flippant statement, as it would never happen, again.
2. I can't stand, therefore I can't expect my granddaughter to stand on her own. Bulls junior season ticket holders can go to ANY other away game and sit or stand anywhere in any stadium for NO charge, but any visiting junior season ticket holders that wish to sit have to pay. Not really in the spirit of the championship agreement.
3. I haven't done any figures, but I do live in Bradford and I do work in Bradford and I have many friends and colleagues who are Bulls fans. I know several who are casual supporters, who decide to go on the day based on lots of factors and it is THEY who say they will not pay the price.
I myself have been a casual supporter over the last 5/6 years when our games didn't clash, but this definitely won't happen this year
I don't profess to know all answers to everything, but I do know that the Bulls believe themselves to be above everyone else in the championship (I was told as much by someone from the offices) but the proof of the pudding will be the Bulls pricing next season if they are still in the championship.

| Weird. I had assumed that the Bulls would only hire shrinking violets with inferiority complexes.
But you say you definitely won't be casually rolling up this year, yet refuse to divulge what price would have changed your mind. And you don't say what price level would bring your apocryphal mates through the turnstiles.
The whole point for us of this year is to get what we pay for and pay for what we get. Your comment about next season is just wrong, we have set our stall out to pay for full-time etc. in an effort to regain SL and we have done the gate pricing in that light. If we don't get promoted then next year's pricing would prove absolutely nothing about this year's pricing, and will (obviously) depend entirely on whether the club wants to continue throwing the same amount of money at promotion challenges.

| If the Bulls were to reduce the admission price, would other clubs object if we went round with the begging bowl when our cash runs out again

| i belive its called cutting your....something...like an accordian? I not sure, but I'm sure we've had some advice on this in the past.
We want a SL cloth, so we, and our visting friends, have to pay for it, its really quite simple. I would say the away junior season ticket allowing access to the stand included should be looked at though, thats hardly going to make much of a difference and would be more in line with the spirt of free entry to away juniors.

I gave last time, so where's the difference?
The Bulls have the absolute right to set their own prices and, as a consumer I have my decision to make whether I purchase the product or not, that I accept and will not come to any, other than the game with Halifax. My main gripe is about the junior season tick inequality.

My mates and colleagues are genuine as is the amount of money I have spent through the turnstiles in the last few years and in pledge, and what price would have drawn them in is their concerns.
The pricing policy of Bradford Bulls is completely up to them to manage their business and £25 for a seat is expensive but understandable given the fact that the Bulls don't really accept that they should be in the championship and intend to conduct themselves as a super league club, however I do object to the prices increasing on the day.
As I mentioned, as a consumer I choose not to come, my prerogative, my initial and main gripe is juniors.

| A word on the junior season ticket thing – it’s been a while since I’ve been party to anyone who has a junior ticket, but I know that for a while at least (if not still) - the Super League season tickets policy was exactly the same, the junior season ticket allowed you to get into any away ground for free, but it was entrance only not free reign, so anywhere you had to pay a transfer to get into that was on top. Again not sure if this is the case anymore, but when we used to go to Leeds this used to be true. Of course less and less grounds have a transfer policy now, and many Championship clubs seem to an operate one price all in policy.
Although I do have sympathy for this view, to play devil’s advocate – you can complain about the prices all you want, but at the end of the day you’ve paid them which shows that the Bulls haven’t got it totally wrong. I imagine if they have, they’ll soon alter them – of course that won’t be until next season at least regardless of what division we are in.

Why? we haven't charged extra because it's Halifax.
Surely the logical thing would be for you to complain to the fax board for not charging more to allow the club to go full time and have a full academy.

| Went to the Hunslet game. £5 for parking £ 22 to get in, outrageous. The other fans were equally horrified. I will only go if another SL team is there or perhaps Leigh. #Mugged

You should have read on, you would have seen that this part was tongue in cheek. I do believe you are too expensive for championship, but that wasn't my main gripe.

You're determined not to say what you [iwould[/i pay aren't you!
But we know all that, we've been told so many times. We're too expensive for championship. We're too good for the Championship. Our fans are too arrogant for the Championship. Even the bog paper is probably the wrong weight for the Championship. We're really sorry.
Funny how we've had a great welcome everywhere we've been, and how each club has marketed the fixture to death and built it up as the biggest event for decades etc. Deluded fools, the lot on 'em! Bulls? Pah!

Big chip on shoulder or what?
I HAVE paid £25 for my seat, I HAVE paid £5.00 for my granddaughter to sit (which I believe is wrong).
As a casual supporter I would be more than happy to pay £23 - £25 on the day (to sit), but £27 is far too expensive.
I have been a Bulls supporter (2nd team when we were in super league and my 1st super league team when we left) I have been to more Bulls games than some Bulls supporters I know. I have followed them to old Trafford, murrayfield and Twickenham (in the chucking down rain), so I have absolutely nothing against the Bulls whatsoever. I firmly believe that you will finish the league either first or second and will have a good tilt at super league, hoping that if at least one from our league goes up its you rather than Leigh.
All that said, I'm entitled, as a customer, to have an opinion on the way the pricing policy has been applied and to what I have been told by Bulls officials.
Please be assured if you come to the shay in July it will be marketed to death and you will be extremely welcome, and the maximum an adult will pay will be £20 and all your junior season ticket holders will be charged exactly £0.00 no matter where they sit or stand.
