| Quote Maccbull_BigBullyBooaza="Maccbull_BigBullyBooaza"I've been told by a very real source who I can't name. One of the preferred bidders has plans to bring back speedway. You can see from the massive media exposure it gets what a big sport it is bringing in people in their tens to the ground between Rl matches. The hundreds of thousands needed to get the ground up to scratch would be paid for by a complex and unfathomable finance package. If only the three directors hadn't skipped that rotten wood boarding for scrap value that must have been in the tens of millions. Concerts that lose hundreds of of thousands - any shortfall will be made up by not paying the beer agent for a year. They also have plans to develop the ground to include retail units. With expressions of interest from major high street retailers (Aslams convenience store, Hill Top Fisheries and Boothroyds wrought iron).
Everyone at RFL is in agreement that the leasehold should be part of the deal to buy the club - even though it's not an asset included in the administration as its owned by someone else. Apart from Nigel Wood who wants the club to fold as he wants to see the word "bye" against a fixture in every round of the championship not to mention having no fixture for Hull KR at the summer bash! Which is why the collection of freaks and odd balls on the Bulls Banter Facebook page are protesting on Monday. In fact one was suggesting today that she is going to get hold of the national press to talk about this disgrace today!
I've heard there is a possibility it's made the front page of the late edition of the Mail on Sunday and she's on her way down to London to be interviewed by Andrew Marr tomorrow morning.'"
Why do so called supporters sprout such crap? It says nothing for the genuine supporters out there!

You've just made his Xmas. FYI MBBB is not your average troll he's part of the furniture on here and occasionally you have to take his posts with a large pinch of salt along with macaroons and cherry brandy!
Every Bulls Fan on here deals with these crisis' in their own way and that's his!

Why won't RFL include the leasehold then?
My source is very real. Yesterday he was watching some Americans or something he's involved with play Brighouse Rangers. I met him and his friend who used to have something to do with Leigh I think in the wyke lion after.
Anyway he told me that due to some quirk in the rules if the Bulls fold Hull KR would still have to kick off at summer bash to be awarded the points. Like when Scotland played Estonia or whatever it was in that World Cup qualifier. Imagine it a half full stadium of KR fans watch one team come out on the pitch. The hooter goes - they kick off and the ball is not brought back. Under RL rules, however, they have to keep playing until someone scores a point. KR regather, kick the goal and they are awarded a 1-0 win. Unless they kick it out then there isn't anyone to tap it on the 20metre line and they'll be there all night.
Imagine the coverage in the press, tv news might actually mention the sport, you tube hits, tweets etc etc. The sport desperately needs a boost in this area and Nigel knows it. There can only be one explanation!

Because it's not the RFL who are selling. It's the administrator who is selling the club and the club do not own the lease. Therefore the lease is not part of the assets of the club and cannot be included in the sale.
I do enjoy your insane ramblings, but you need to temper them with actual facts occasionally to prevent them going full fledged fantasy

If this means allowing parts of the stadium grounds to be used for other purposes, and if this is the enabling factor for improvements, then I don't really see the RFL's ownership of the primary lease to be an impediment to that being done. Indeed, it would be perverse if either party objected in a matter which is contractually delegated to the club.

| Quote vekder="vekder":342b8znyWhy would we risk a drop goal?'" , maybe even a hefty fine to go with it, but they'll surely want the club to play on in some guise to pay their rent. Their big problem is that if they demote us to champ 1, then that pretty much rules out us out of playing at Odsal due to the inevitable loss of players and subsequently fans, and of course, the cost. If we're demoted, then Horsfall with Avenue is a more likely venue, and more importantly a ground where we may even scrape through a season without going bust again.
