| If it is Manuokafoa, then bringing him and Burgess off the bench would be some sight.

If Scruton can get his previous form back we could look relentless up front with Size and Power, could be a new era for Bradford forwards. Wishful Thinking.

| Manase is the man we'll be announcing tomorrow. Rather a cheap option but if he turns out to do well then its a good piece of business.

Pollsters doing Excellent job - say recent polls.: |
|
| As said before - the reason why he hasn't played much over the last 2yrs is important. Jamie Lyons had fallen out of love with the game a bit before Saints offered him another option.

He has played just not first grade. Maybe as simple as him being signed as fifth choice prop and first 4 all managing to stay fit. Or a change of coach and his face didnt fit (ala halley/finnigan this yr with potter).Haven't followed eels closely enough to know tbh. He was pretty much a regular at souths while there.
Think it's a case of giving guy a chance rather than deciding he isn't any good before he even pulls jersey on.

| Once again if it is him its a rather underwhelming signing.

We'd probably all 'like' someone else, but we've got to be realistic. We are bottom half of the table side, struggling to recapture former glories. And we're not exactly loaded with cash.
This guy is probably the best we could hope for. I'm optimistic that he might turn out to be an asset, but then I was pretty excited by Patrick Ah Van this time last year.

| I guess we all hoped that after releasing Lynch we had lined up a good quality proven replacement from down under. A bit of a pack leader and with enough experience/rep for the rest of the team to look up to. My worry is that whilst we have improved the backline... our pack hasn't been improved and could well be even weaker if this unknown Manase Manuokafoa turns out to be a bit of a plodder.
Hopefully Potter has made a shrewd signing that will surprise a few in SL. People like Carmont/Dureau were not high profile signings but proved very handy players. We've signed so much garbage in the last few years, I can understand why expectations aren't that high.

Someone with a bit more pedigree. We have just SOLD our captain and best prop and possibly replacing him with a nobody who's not even been playing first grade.

We didn't release Lynch we sold him.

7741_1339451243.jpg When you're a Bradford fan there's always a light at the end of the tunnel.

| The thing is, if this guy IS our new signing, I'd imagine that he'd be on a lower wage than we were paying Lynch and I'd assume Kear is similar to less than Raynor.
So that means we should still have some room under the cap for an emergency signing and/or give improved deals to players like Burgess

| As people have said, for god sake give the guy a chance. Plenty of players come out of Australia unknown and do remarkably well in SL. Dureau, Green at HKR, Dobson, l'Estrange, lets face it we must be due some luck from unknowns
